'It is few days from riya's tragic death' o can I say her great sacrifice??! I actually don't know how can I pen it' I scolded her soo much, hurt her, always kept her away from me' but still, I can feel the pain of her loss' if this is so difficult for me, then how are those two coping? How is shree coping? Jab bhi main usse dekhta hun to mujhe mere purane din yaad aate hai'. Khair'baat shree ki ho rahi hai na'. wo to riya ka bestie tha' uska partner in crime'. Aaj usse kitna dard ho raha hoga? He is letting nothing out. He is learning ways of life at early age' aisa hi chalta raha to wo meri tarah ban jaayega'duniya se door'. I cant let this happen'.'
Arjun sighed and closed his diary. He glanced at the table where his junior trio always seated.. he saw that entire office was empty, other than him and''Shree'
Arjun saw him clutching a photo frame and sobbing quietly'.. he instantly knew what it was'. He was missing her'
Just the way he himself missed two most important people in his life'.roshni and sameer'. He instantly shook his head and went towards Shree. He was about to keep his hand on his shoulders, his phone rang. He instantly took his hand back and took his phone. Shree was staring at him with eyes wide. he immediately wiped his tears and listened to what his senior was speaking.
"ha Rathod' oki'.theek hai tum aur chotu wahan evidences collect karo, main aur shree dusre jagah chalte hai' kal subah saare evidences ke saath office mein milenge'"
"shree.. evidences collect karne hai..apna kit lo' we ll go'
"yes sir"
Arjun fetches his gun and ETF car keys and move out of the office.
All along the way the chatter box 2 was quiet(yes'. He secretly called him chatter box 2 as 1st was riya) '. Not even a word spoken other than to answer what he was asked to'
Shree although was not speaking anything, noticed that his senior was keeping a tab on his behaviour'
(in his mind)"sab sahi kehte hai' ye insaan khaddos hi nahin insensitive bhi hai' pakka agar main eek mistake bhi ki to mujhe ETF se baahar kar dega' he would threaten even ri na'. dekho aaj to wo hamesha ke liye chali gayi'. Ab to aap khush ho na???"
A single tear rolled from his cheeks'.
Arjun noticed it from corner of his eyes' he saw shree throw a quick glance towards him and hastily wiping his tears and immersing himself in his little gadget'
Arjun noticed him muttering something to himself and smiled arjun to himself'"ye ladka kabhi nahin sudrega" and shook his head. Shree saw him doing this and again muttered under his breath. All Arjun could manage to understand was "akdu kahinka, khadoos'"
Soon they reached the place where they were supposed to collect evidences. It was an old godown, supposed to be adda of a local goonda who was found dead.. they thought that the place would be deserted and it was. They moved in tentatively and started searching for evidences. Shree moved to the corner where he found some marks on the wall' he was facing towards the wall and analyzing the marks and taking pics. He had completely zoned out.arjun was at some distance analyzing the scene'
"kuch to choot raha hai shree" he turned around and saw a red dot lingering around shree's back. Arjun knew what it was'..
"SHRREEE'.."
Arjun ran towards Shree pulling out his gun. Before Shree could comprehend what was going on, he was pushed aside and hit his side way too dangerously to the furniture. he heard two loud gun shots resounding the entire place. He saw Arjun lying next to him looking at the other side of room, with gun clutched tightly'
Shree followed his gaze and saw a person dead on the floor.
Arjun got up and made shree stand and hugged him tight.
"tum theek to ho na shree???? Zyada chot to nahin lagi na? I did not mean to push you so badly but I had no choice' he'.he was aiming at you'. You are ok na??? are you hurt??/ shree kuch bolo???"
Shree was too dazed to speak anything'. He could not believe that the very same akdu was hugging him'..
"shree main riya ko to nahin bacha paya uss din'. Par aaj tumhe to bacha paya'. Pehle roshni, phir riya aur aaj tum' agar main tumhe naa bachapaya hota to shaayad main guilt ke mare mar jaata'. Ab chalo yahan se'. we ll handle everything else tomorrow'"
They both reach the car and drove off.
In the car, shree was seeing other side of akdu sarfhira raute' this is what he always thought of him. he saw him caring for him, asking him to be alert like a elder brother. Yes an elder brother. O how much he missed his elder bro' his family'
Suddenly his gaze went to his shoulder where there was blood stains' he was sure he was not hurt' that meant it was''
"SIR'.. aapko chot lagi hai'. You din even tell me'. Gaadi rokiye' NOW'."
Arjun was actually shocked hearing shree order him. he immediately pulled the car at road edge. Shree immediately switched on car lights and turned towards him. his right shoulder meant arjun's left. He saw blood trickling down his arms'.
" sir itna khoon beh raha hai aur aap aise hi bina mujhe bataye gaadi chalarahe the'' kuch ho jaata to? Aap apna dard share kyun nahin karte' chalo main first aid deta hun then I ll drive you to hospital'"
"tum bhi to apna dard kisi se share nahin karte shree'"
Shree stared at his senior as if he had sprouted another head. He was the last person he had expected to notice his pain. He was too good at hiding it'.
"aise mat dekho shree' I know it pains' pains here a lot(pointing at his heart)'. Kyunki main iss dard se guzar chukka hun aur har din uss dard ke dariya mein aur bhi neecke kheencha ja raha hun'
Chahu to bhi wahan se main baahar nahin nikal sakta shree'.(tears started rolling out his eyes)dost ko khone ka dard main bhi jaanta hun'. main nahin chahta ki tum meri tarah bano' don't bottle up your pain shree' it will eat you alive' just the way its eating me everyday'. Every moment'. Please let everything out shree'. "
Shree was too moved to see his senior like this, vulnerable, in pain'. He just thought that murder of his wife had made him like what he was' but there was something more to it'
Shree slowly saw the image of his long dead elder brother in arjun'. He immediately hugged him and cried his heart out'.
"pata hai'. I loved my family so much' but wo log mujhe hamesha ke liye chodke chale gaye'.yahan tak ki bhai bhi'.. kisi ko meri parwah nahin thi ki main akela yahan kaise rahunga'. Phir riya aayi meri zindagi mein'. Mere dost, more like a sister'. I felt I had a family again'.. I would tell her all my insecurities,my fears, and she would always help through that'. But aaj wo bhi mujhe'.." he could not continue further and started crying bitterly. Arjun pulled a tender arm around him and pulled him more closer, hugged him tight' he patted his back and said assuring words'
"pata hai Shree?!' zindagi bohut ajeeb hoti hai'. Wo humse wohi cheese cheenta hai jo hume sabse pyaari ho'. Jo zyada kareeb ho' pana, khona phir rona yahin zindagi hai shree'. In sab ke beeck hum khushi dhoondte hai'. Wo registan ke oasis jaisa hota hai'.haath lagate hi gaayab ho jaata hai'. Hum dono ke saath bhi aisa hi hua hai'. Par tumhe aage badhna hai shree' you have all of us'.. you cant, you shouldnot become like me shree' ye tanhayi, akelapan ye sab andar hi andar mujhe har pal khokla karta hai'.. mere paas jine ke liye kai maqsad nahin hai'. Isiliye you shouldnot become like me'. You are already on the same way shree'"
"theek hai sir'.. main samajhta hun'. Lekin jine ke liye koi to wajah chahiye na'. aap bhi jee sakte ho'. Hum waapas khushi ki talaash nahin kar sakte hai kya???"
"mera to pata nahin shree, but you definitely can'. Tumhare aage poori life padi hai shree"
"sir, I know ki agar main aapke hisaab se aage badh sakta hun to aap kyon nahin? Kya hum dono yahan se ek nayi shuruwat nahin kar sakte?? Even roshniji would be happy'.."
These simple words made him wonder what was this boy?
"sir I think we should go to doc'. Main drive karta hun'." Soon they started towards the hospital. Shree switched on the radio, a song played which seemed to invite both of them towards life'.

They shared a healthy laugh and Arjun continued.
"you were right shree, I will start a fresh' for roshni, for sameer, for''.you my chotte'."
"chotte???? Kya main aapko chota dikhta hoon??? App bhi na'. maine to socha tha ki sirf haath mein chot lagi hai'. Lagta hai dimaag bhi kharaab hogaya hai'."
"SHREE'."
Shree nevously gulped'.
Arjun saw him and started laughing'..
"you, jao bhaiyya'. Aap mujhe tease kar rahe the? I was so scared'."
"tum kitna bolte ho shree'.. main ye keh raha tha ki kuch dino mein I wanna shift my home'. I want you to stay with me'. Chaloge??"
"sure'. But for now, we ll go to doc' samjhe ya'. Samjhau???!"
