Chapter 6
Arjun was trying to be extra conscious that day. He made sure that he s not telling any lie, n didn't wanted himself to b caught again in an awkward situation. He drove to ETF headquarters. As the day proceeded, his colleagues could easily notice a change in his behavior. Aisha and chotu reached the office. They were both working on a case involving drug-dealings n have caught a criminal. Chotu took dat goon in d interrogation room. While aisha was observing the entire procedure from the monitor room , arjun n chotu were dere investigating n talking to the guy.
Chotu ,"Dekh ..seedhe seedhe apne boss ka name likh.." Goon,"mujhe kuch nhi pata" Chotu was about to punch him again, when arjun stopped him n said,"chotu ruko'isko samjhana mujhe aata hian"
Saying so he pulled out his pistol n put it in his mouth,"Bata ..warna abhi encounter karta hun tera.." n d very next instant, Arjun was holdin his ears n saying sorry.
Dat goon was in shock, while chotu was looking at arjun with open mouth. On the other hand, aisha was laughing very badly seeing this arjun. Arjun was hell embarrassed. He immediately moved out of the room, not before giving a tough glare to aisha. Arjun,"Damn it'..iss ria k chakkar mein people are now making fun of me."
He walked out of his office irritated with what all is happening. 2 days back he was leading a normal life, n now his life took a 180 degree turn, he s stuck with this genie, or whoever she s, and 2 kids, making his life worse day by day. He drove and reached his apartment, all through the drive, he mentally prepared himself, to not talk with 3 dangerous creatures in his home, because if he did so, he would rather blast on dem. He knocked praying to see no-nonsense going on in his house.
He unlocked the door with the key had, mentally prepared to get any shock, like d previous tym (his house turning into fashion house previously). Arjun walked in nd to his surprise there was everything "Usual". Arjun to himself," how come dere s pin drop silence here." He walked towards the kids, just to check wat dey r doing. Although he was upset with ria, but he cant ignore the kids as well.
Inside the room,
All 3 of them were playing 'snakes and ladders' with each other. There laughs, the fun they were having, was just beautiful. All 3 of them have gelled with each other. It seems as if they had known each other for years. Automatically a smile crept on his face, seeing 3 of them.
He wondered how easily ria got mixed up with both of them, n he despite of being there real mama , still faces some problems with them. For some moments he forgot everything that happened the day.
With ria's voice, he came out of his trance. Ria was standing near him and asked,"Juno '."
Arjun looked at her n den automatically got reminded of d embarrassment he had to face, n angrily said,"Dun u dare talk to me", n walked in to his room.
Ria,"Haww'.itna sara gussa''..need to do something."
She reached his room. Arjun was sitting on his couch and angrily operating his laptop. Ria,"Juno, y r u mishandling ur laptop'.if u r angry on me ..den speak up. " Arjun angrily went close to her, held her arms firmly n shouted," U think this s funny'.just because of ur stupid magic, I had to face hell embarrassment'my juniors were laughing at me. Those people who didn't hd d courage to talk with me properly, were laughing at me, n all dis because of 1 thing '.stupid genie ka stupid magic"
Ria,"How mean is dat '.i said sorry na. Maaf bhi kar do'aur waise bhi don't worry'no 1 will remember anything ..i will erase dere memory"
Arjun,"R u mad..unki memory erase kaise kar sakti..dey r all very important officers of the country."
Ria,"U think I m mad..i will erase only dat part'.where u faced d embarrassment. No 1 will remember u did sumthing like dat."
Arjun,"koi zaroorat nahi hain'..u n ur stupid magic have alredy done a lot of disaster..but now no need."
Ria,"how dare u call my magic stupid'.aapko mera magic useful nhi lgta hain"
Arjun,"haan useful nhi hain", n d very next moment he was holding his ears n saying those 4 words.
Hearing this, ria burst out laughing. She literally sat on couch n for next 5 minutes continuously laughed. Arjun also gave up his ngry mode n he also started laughing thinking of wat he did rite now.
After 5 min, ria,"so u finally agree ki aapko mere magic atleast useful to lagta hain'hun"
Arjun," sometimes it is useful..but please now get me rid of this spell."
Ria,"sorry I cant help it'still 2 hours remaining. Uske baad it will automatically be removed"
Tina and Ishan came into the room interrupting the discussion. Tina,"chalo Ria di'.we will go outside and play." Ishan,"haan di'.aap yeh boring akdu mamu k paas mt raho'.inductive effect ho gaya to"
Arjun,"What do u mean by inductive effect ishan'.y cant u just speak normally about me. "
Ishan(muttered softly),"normal ho kahan aap"
Tina giggled hearing that. Arjun,"I heard dat''.ishan, tina finish ur homework first, otherwise main sam ko phone karke complaint karunga" (Although he had no intention of disturbing sam n anki)
N d next he was holding his ears and no mrks for guessing wat he said.
Tina started laughing n said," wow mamu, jhooth bolna paap hian mujhe to pata hi nahi tha"
Ishan,"yeh tha kya"
Ria suppressed her giggle, after getting a glare from Arjun. Ria,"Ishan, tina 'chalo first we will finish your homework n uske baad will play"
Arjun was sitting in his room, n thinking about the recent happenings,"Arjun u laughed like anything After so long '..yeh ho kya gaya tha mujhe 'I was laughing like maniac. N kya mujhe actually mein Ria k magic ki habit lag gayi hain''nahi nahi ..probably wo uss din she helped me in getting Tina n ishan ready wen I was late'so probably isliye d lie checker worked. This genie is going to be end of me '.n ajkal dese 3 have gelled up with each other'.ab mera ghar will soon b a zoo ..aur yeh 3 will b zoo k animals.."
He looked at the watch n thought,"Finally 8 baj gaye'.magic spell over. But lemme check 'I cant risk it." He said,"My name is not Arjun" n he stood for a minute, but when nothing happened,"Finally the magic spell is over'hush finally."
After an hour, Ria came running to his room n shouted," Oh no..My powers are gone for some time."
Arjun,"Why 'wat happened"
