Loved reading everyone's takes on this and like most of you said - I didn't suspect Bhola at all, was thinking it ws Manohar Lal's son the entire time, but glad to see it wasn't him.
So coming to the pros of the episode:
1) Aisha kicking Lakhan - Amazing! I'm really happy that she's fighting, and especially in that scenario, I felt it was so important that Lakhan realize that he can't take advantage of women, and that women, in fact, can overpower him, fight him, and are more intelligent than him. He tried to take advantage of Surekha, Bhola's daughter, and you know for a fact he's one of those men who believe women are weaker, are meant to be submissive, and just the way he was leering at Surekha as she was mopping the floor in his introduction scene had me disgusted. Aisha teaching him a lesson was amazing, I just wish they'd showed her be the one to drag him off 😆
2) Emotional Chotu - We've been seeing a much more sensitive and sweet Chotu than any of us ever probably imagined, and today was just the best. I loved how Chotu understood the mother's pain, and when she gave him the box of sweets, he told her she was like a mother. :)
3) That little boy was abasolutely AMAZING! The entire school scene in the beginning, I was sitting at the edge of my seat, wondering what would be happening, if the kid was going to end up being psychotic, try to hurt Arjun, or something else. It reminded me of the little boy in the movie Looper, their eyes just say a lot, very expressive, so good for him!
4) The case overall - It was not at all what I had imagined. What I had predicted it would be was that Vansh had been ordered by someone to memorize and tell this story to Arjun, kind of drawing him into a trap of some sort with the rest of the ETF team, and there would be some other mystery unfold. This was obviously not that. The integration of the old village scenario, landlords, but how a child's imagination can in fact be wild was wonderfully done. It was a wonderful case.
5) Sensitive Arjun - Loved it! :) His interaction with the little boy, making the kids laugh in the beginning, I just really enjoyed. And that one dialogue, which I don't remember perfectly, but it was when Rathore was mocking Arjun for listening to a child's words, it was beautifully depicted how one shouldn't necessarily ignore what children say. And clearly, it worked out well that the ETF went on Vansh's words and explored the situation at hand 😆
Cons:
Womps, and as much as I loved the episode - there are definitely a few things which I would have loved to see improvements on.
1) The actor who played Bhola/Surekha - I wasn't really feeling their acting to be very honest. I felt that they could have emoted better in their scenes, like their reunion scene, or Surekha's scene where Aisha/Rathore/Chotu rescue her from Lakhan's clutches. Even the final confrontation scene with Bhola in the mandir - I thought that the actor could have depicted his anger more fiercely, etc.
But that being said - I think that last scene, in general, the wrap-up one, could have been written a little bit better. The dialogues weren't fiery enough for me. But that's me.
2) Rathore - HELLO CVS! We've all talked about this a billion number of times, but SERIOUSLY! Rathore is the chief of ETF. He should know better than to jump to conclusions, to say whatever comes on his mind, yet that's exactly what he does. His character is just starting to irritate me sometimes, because that's not what a police officer is supposed to do. The way he yelled at Arjun, the way he immediately accused Lakhan of killing Manohar Lal - sure, that's what everyone might have been thinking, but you're not supposed to go say it!
But his anger today was fantabulous - Behzaad is one heck of an actor.
3) I love Arjun, the character, so don't get me wrong, but I really want Chotu, Aisha, and Shree to speak up as well, to solve cases, even Rathore of course. I want them to be the ones to do the final dissection, trapping the criminal, etc. I want them to have intelligent ideas, come up with those out of whack things that end up being correct/help solve the case. I feel like those three characters aren't being used to their full potential, and I really would love to see an episode of one of them solving the case. [I haven't watched all the episodes, unfortunately, but if it has happened - whoops, not a con anymore 😆]

Boom. That was long. If anyone read through it - I hope you didn't fall asleep 😆
And ahh, I'm really sorry about not being able to participate in the discussion earilier, had to go into work this morning, and will have to go tomorrow morning as well, so won't be able to catch up with the episodes until later in the evening =/
Starting next week though, if no one else does, I'll def. try to do live updates 😆
