Hey guys, I m back with another part.
This update is going to be in two parts.I have posted Part A here. Part B is coming up soon.
Okay! Rathod dewanis enjoy this part.
@My dear BBs (99.9% didis)- I hope I match up to your level and keep the name of our AT high!

Chapter 5A

Sameer walked back to his cabin. His walk was quite slow. It was difficult for him to even walk back to his cabin. His head felt so heavy, but yet its heaviness was nothing compared to the one in his heart.

He finally made it into his cabin and slumped into his chair. He recalled the events that lead to his this condition. The case, the criminal, his outburst, everything that followed. He had to answer the commissioner for his actions. He was lucky that the commissioner understood him, with one word only from his mouth, "Sakshi".

Yet, he warned Rathod to keep a check on his emotions; he needed to keep his personal issues out of his professional work. He mentally thanked the commissioner to understand him.

Rathod was about to take his mind to wander around in the past, but he was abruptly stopped by the ringing of his phone. He looked irritated at the caller who disturbed his chain of thoughts. But the frown was immediately replaced by a smile.

He picked up the call, but before he could even utter a word'

"SAMEER DAMSINGH RATHOD, I want you at the doorstep of our house within the next 15 minutes." Came the command from a sweet voice, which was nothing but a melody to his ears.

He smiled even at that person thought. But he was scared. If there was one person who could transform this ferocious lion into a timid mouse, it was this very person.

Sameer knew he was in trouble already; he wasn't even at the least interested in adding the blame of being late to the list. So he rushed off from the office and drove home as fast as he could.

He had only two minutes in hand, so he literally ran into his house and stopped to ring the doorbell.

But before he could reach the doorbell, he heard the door open. There he saw his beautiful ferocious lioness opening the door for him. 'Ah! How does she always open the door when I m about to ring the bell?' He thought with a smile.

But the smile soon disappeared as soon as he saw her expression.

'ACP Sameer Damsingh Rathod you are so dead today.' He gulped nervously.

"Jaan'" He started but couldn't continue as Ankita moved away from the door into the hall, without a word, needless to say furiously.

Sameer surfed for his handkerchief in his pocket to rub the sweat on his forward that was tracing its way down his face to his neck, due to the little exercise he just did and of course, his fear. He sent a quick prayer to the one above to save him.

Anyone who could read Sameer's mind only for today would have been shocked to see the transformation he went within a few minutes. At just one call from his wife, he had forgotten about the heaviness and pain in his heart. God knows what would happen later.

Sameer walked in, closed the door shut behind him and turned to see Ankita roaming across the hall angrily muttering something. All Sameer knew now was that he had to pacify his angry wife. How? It didn't matter.

"Anki actually' I can'" He was cut midway.

"You can what? Explain? Please do. ACP Sameer Damsingh Rathod, I do want an explanation for your irrational behavior in the interrogation room. I am quite aware police officers can take the harsh route to bring out the truth and even punish them in the interrogation. But that is not my concern. What my concern is that, why you Sameer? Why did you have to take up this path? In the 7-8 years of your career you never opted this path, then what was so special today that you didn't think twice before deceiving the principals you had set up for yourself?" Ankita furiously asked.

Sameer had bent down his head in shame. His other half had just shown him the harsh truth; he till now was ignoring to look. He had deceived his Principals.

"Answer me Sameer, why? This is not you Sameer. What you did was not something expected by Sameer Rathod even in the craziest dreams. This kind of behavior could be expected from Arjun, but not you. Sameer I m waiting for my answer."

But Sameer decided to stay silent. He was not able to voice out the answer, he could not speak out. Ankita's continuous questioning was bringing back the same heaviness he was relieved a while ago. Ankita span around frustrated at his silence.

"News spreads fast. And this also did. My friend came and informed me about this, and I couldn't believe my ears. And then the entire questioning started. I was disturbed mentally the entire time. But I m not bothered about that. Sameer why?" She turned around to face him.

"Why did you'" She stopped midway, when she saw those tears rushing down from his eyes, her most awful enemy. She walked up to her husband.

"Sameer'" Her voice softened filled with concern. The concerned voice made his go down on his knees. He hugged her waist and cried, "I m sorry. I m so sorry Ankita."

Ankita made him stand up and then sit on the sofa. She adjusted herself on the arm and lifted her husband's face. Her eyes did the questioning this time. Sameer saw the worried eyes of his wife and did not want to trouble her more.

"Sakshi" Was all he managed to say and dipped into her bosom, wailing like a small kid.

His tears soaked her shirt; she rubbed Sameer's back as an attempt to console him. But she knew it was useless, no matter how much she tried to explain him all these years that he was not at fault, he would never listen and cry out, "It was my entire fault. I ruined her life."

This Sakshi topic was the only black spot of their happy life. One mention about her would change the entire atmosphere to a depressing one. Typically any wife would have seen her biggest foe in Sakshi. But Ankita knew better. How she wished the things would change.

She just kept patting her husband's back soothing him to calm down and release himself from all his grief. She was ready doing it day after day, hoping that one day her husband would get over this misery.

Sameer realized that he had been crying for quite a long time. His wife's wet shirt was a solid proof of it.

He got up slowly; Ankita rubbed the last trace of his tears and cupped his face.

"Go and freshen up now, then we will have dinner. Okay?" She smiled sweetly.

Sameer nodded reassuring her with a smile. He went to bedroom and searched for his kurta in the drawer. Fetching it he went to the bathroom to take a hot shower. The warm water magically cooled down his heat inside. He thought of his actions and then his mind diverted to Ankita. How much he had troubled the poor girl. She provided him happiness and dealt with misery. And what did he give her? He knew it was of no use to bring this topic infront of her as she would hush him in some way. She needed silent treatment.

He smiled and turned off the shower.

Ankita had served dinner and he sat down cherish the taste of her food. But he stopped with a thought.

"Ankita, I m not hungry." He pushed the plate away.

"ACP Rathod, at least don't try to fool me. You could have asked for it directly." She smiled.

"Asked what?" He grinned. Ankita raised her eye-brow and shook her head with a smile.

She got up from her chair and sat on Sameer's thighs. He grabbed her by her waist. And she started feeding him. Sameer happily eat the morsels she gave and did the same with her.

After dinner, Ankita rushed to clean the utensils, but Sameer had other plans. He held her by her wrist, pulled her towards him. Ankita fell on him due to his strong pull, he steady her by grabbing her waist.

Ankita enquired with her eyes. Sameer slowly inserted his hands inside her shirt and rubbed her waist. Trailing his fingers through her spine, he bent his head to nuzzle her neck and started planting moist kisses on it.

Ankita all the while shivering at his not-so-innocent touches and kisses was brought back to reality by the sharp teeth piercing in her skin. She gasped and pulled apart from him. To his dismay but largely her own.

Sameer enquired through his angry expression, Ankita pointed at the utensils.

"Agh! I will do it tomorrow." Sameer said, not in his senses.

"You sure?" Ankita grinning inwardly.

"Yes." He replied hastily and picked her in his arms.

Ankita kissed his face and nibbled his earlobe, causing him to enhance the pace to the bedroom. He kicked the door shut and she giggled at his impatience. He gently placed her on the bed and slowly climbed on her.

@BBs- Okay!! This was a trailer. REAL content is in the next part. If I m able to work it out properly.
