Prologue

"Mujhe Pyaar dikhana nahi ata?
Mujhe bato'n ka jaal bnana nahi ata?

Arjun read this as a smile crept on his face, and a sudden sadness that hit him as he read the last line

Mujhe Mohabbat ko lafzo me kehna nahi ata"

He anxiously closed the book and paced around in his lodge room.

He remembered their first meeting 'hmmm pagal' he muttered under his breath. He looked out of his window to find a mother and her teen daughter friendly arguing over boys. It was quite loud he could hear their conversation clearly in his balcony. Arjun once again remembered the incident where Riya had become upset in the end of Kanika murder case.

Ye mujhe kya ho raha hai he thought to himself with moist eyes. He glanced at the study table he saw the pink pen, he picked it up and twirling around his fingers glanced at the 'ETF dairy' once again. Riya's ETF dairy to be specific. He opened the first page

'Please don't touch'

'Shreee I know if you touch my dairy' Tumhara murder karungi mai. Arjun read the words in bold.

He twirled Riya's pen around once again, when suddenly Arjun felt he had to pen down something important in her dear dairy.

Arjun wrote these few lines in Riya's incomplete diary, he had found a day after her demise.

Why Riya? He questioned his mind as he sat on the couch.
