I agree I didn't like it being about Ranisa too. But she is trying to stop her continued attempts to separate her from Veer. Also, if Rani hadn't done that, Veer would probably have left the mansion to be with Rani and she knows that would pain him too.

That would have been the perfect option and they could have started their lives afresh with a sweet home that they built together with love and maybe after years they could include ranisa in their lives by then she would have been begging to be part of their lives since she would have ruined her home
