I think she just looked at Rani because veer was staring at Rani.

Her memory might be jumbled. She might not remember how rani messed up her engagement and all. This could be a version of kiara who doesn't have a problem with rani. It could be genuine.

Then again this could be a plan. But coming up with such a plan as soon as you regain consciousness is next to impossible. She must have had memory loss for at least a few hours.
