Yes, you are absolutely right. That's why I said he will give jai water. In my head he would not waste time with jai while rani is in danger and after she is found his anger would have died down.

Birju will come to know maybe from champa Jai's hand in sending Ranisa to jail. This situation is different from the temple scene . There Veer was confident he could save Rani by applying sindoor. Here he is scared shit for her safety as he can't play but Rani is there to give him that boost and maybe jai will help too.

Birjus love will not matter to Veer as ultimate truth is Rani is Veer's wife. Rest never mattered to both. Kiara is sincere where Veer is concerned just as Birju is for Rani. I too cannot understand why Birju is there. Maybe time to time he will come to help RanVeer when they need him. But I think his help won't be needed after this track .

Or they might work on Birju Nandu pair.
