I don't know why you guys see comedy in jai. From the beginning I only saw a criminal. the day ranveer got married he knew that those people will kill both of them. His plan was to kill. I think he has experience in being a criminal. also handling criminals. However even I didn't expect jai to do all the dirty work himself. Cutting rani like that was totally unexpected.

I saw him as a comic character because he acted that way. His plans are always stupid and make no sense. Even the temple idea, that happened almost abruptly. He didn’t know Veer was there too. Then when he saw them in one room, he locked them there.

His experience in being a criminal is limited to money laundering. Not to physically hurting people.

His pervert side is disgusting. I didn’t actually start watching the show before the attempted rape scene. So I never fully saw that side of his. Maybe if I did, I would feel the same way as you. 😡
