Sudden but Subtle change in Parag's face

In the episode, where Parag is fuming and throws Prem outside the house, Prem makes an accusation that Parag is responsible for his mom's death. At that point, Parag is stunned. Infact when his younger brother tries to explain/reveal the reason, he stops him from doing so. In that one scene, the actor who played the character of Parag was amazing in showcasing the transformation of emotions from being angry to being stunned. Even while being shocked, he is protective of his son and does not want him to know the reason. That scene was very well executed by Parag's character.

This scene has been playing on my mind and gives me two train of thoughts for her death.

I do not think Parag was cheating on his wife. He seems to be very devoted towards his family. He is a smart person and acute business acumen, but has blind spots when it comes to his family. He is not aware of his own SIL wrong doings towards his daughter. Always uses respectful tone and gesture towards Khayti. This makes me think/assume that he is not the reason for her death. So, here goes my first idea:

Depression: Gayathri like Prathana was very meek and could never share her thoughts. May be she was depressed that led to eventual death but not due to affair. I think Khayti make later in the picture. That is why he wants to protect Prem. Depression is very real and serious cause, I hope if they go this route, makers/create handle this sensitive issue very carefully.

Second may be I will pause on sharing, as that idea seems very unlikely to me.

And Now I am interested in the second reason. Please share. Don't think it could unlikely, this is DKP, sky is the limit 😂

Anupama is not about "Women Empowerment". It is the story of a woman who had treated a loving husband like Anuj as her doormat and constantly allowed her self proclaimed Mayka to abuse and insult him.

A woman is self sufficient, independent and capable of doing things on her own. But Anupama had always needed some 1's support to grow in her life. "Anu Ki Rasoi" was Anuj's idea.

Whether that subtle change on Parags face meant anything will depend on writers day to day mood😂

From what I understood so far, its a copy of YRKKH2. And aaj k episode mein jo BG story prem ne btayi, its almost similar. He said uski mom depression mein agayi thi etc. now lets see when will they reveal Parag's version

I have not seen that serial what you have mentioned. So I was speculating based on what I have seen the story so far for Anupama itself.

I think they are going to show that these kids misunderstood their dad just like his mom. In fact, he married Khayti so that she can take care of young kids....and may be to save her from bad name from society. I really hope they don't go this cliché way. I do not want them to white wash Parag. Will they be dare to show/deviating to show that even women can ask for divorce? like Gayathri did not have any health issues and asked for divorce as she felt she does not have seat at that table in the relationship?

Prem mentions that Prathana used to shiver as a kid in front of Parag. In a typical patriarchal society, where women do not have a voice, these things are very normal unfortunately. I really want Parag to be a relatable character (not white washed). He needs to be having best of interest for his family. Just like today, where he did not like his mom lying. But he needs to have his blind spots. Like for Gayathri and for Prathana. I want him to reflect and understand at what cost his success has come, what has he lost.....

I know they are building relationship between Ansh and Prathana.....I really hope Parag understands the depth of her pain and how much his lack of communication with her has devastated her sense of being. Parag should repent for the wrongdoings towards his kids (even if unintentional). He should fully support her walking out of the toxic relationship.

OR am I expecting too much?
