The episode begins with Anupama, Rakhi, Janki Ben , others of Anu Ki rasoi working hard to complete the bhog Prasad for Sankranti Pooja for Shrinath .
Inside the Kothari Mansion Parag is seen giving foot massage to Moti Baa . Khyati gets Dalchini waali chai , he shares it with maa . Khyati feels sad that Baa n Parag rishtaa is so loving , but not her rishtaa with her daughter and SIL .
Parag and Amati baa discuss how Khyati was given the responsibility of preparing bhog Prasad for Shrinath ji and she chose undesired people for that work .
Prarthna and Gautam Damaad ji come to discuss the business if lab grown diamonds . Parag rejects the proposal and asks him to concentrate the diamond business that he has given on his name . Damaad ji agrees start the business and they agree to do opening ceremony for the business at the hands of Moti baa.
Parag informs he will give Mumbai branch to Raja for handling it , Gautam agrees unhappily .Motibaa asks Khyati to keep watch on the progress in Prasad preparations.
Anupama and her team are busy with the cooking . Rahi wants to go to washroom and she seeks help from the kids to get directions to washroom . Badshah shows her to way to bathroom . Unknown to her the room belongs to Prarthna and Gautam . Gautam is furious to find Rakhi using his washroom. He misbehaves with her but then accuses her of trespassing and suspects she might be stealing .
At Shah house , Mahi is seen joining pictures of Prem and herself n cutting out Rahi . Pakhi notices this and remarks how she was trying to occupy the place of Rahi in the pics and in the kite also yesterday . She encourages her by saying everything is fair in love n war. Pakhi instigates Mahi to fight for getting back Prem, how could Anupama support Rahi , Rahi and Anupama have betrayed Mahi n her love . Pakhi instigates her against AnuPama and Rahi .
Mahi refuses to forgive Rahi .
Babuji is enjoys the gur chikki made by Baa . Baa informs Mahi has prepared it , she was much better cook than Rahi. Rahi’s mention irks Mahi .
Anupama and her workers want drinking water as they are working in the open under the sun , she goes inside the house to get drinking water , Khyati ji asks her to take drinking water from kitchen .
Anupama is shouted at by Moti baa for stepping into the kitchen . Anupama is startled and drops a bottle n is shatters . Moti baa cries apshagun on Sankranti day , Anupama offers to clean it up . Moti baa gets injured on the food by a glass shard . Parag attends to maa’s wound and applies Haldi and bandages with kerchief. He orders Anupama to leave the house . She had first humiliated his baa on the road in presence of a crowd and now caused her injury , he did not want such a Person in his house .

Same as yesterday In order to humiliate Anupama . Parag Kothari offers payment but refuses to eat the food prepared by her . Anupama is shocked, she politely asks him tk remain calm and celebrate the Makar Sankranti festival n not spoil everyone’s mood . The Son In law angrily confronts Anupama and Rahi retorts back and asks him to be polite to her mother . Parag gets all the more angry n orders Anupama to take the money n get out of their house .
That trembling, shivering in fear when Baa abuses her, questions her character, and yet Anupamaa responds with unwavering strength, telling Baa that no matter how angry she gets, she will never be able to break their pious "Rista" - that encapsulates a different level of passion, love & intensity that she has for her masters. That begging, crying, creating melodrama when Baa doesn't gives her the rightful position of an upaid maid - that whole spectacle is something else. 
That intensity to remain loyal and at the lotus feet of her masters is very difficult to be recreated. When Kotharis insult Anupamaa and she offers to pick up the glass pieces, it more looked like her reflex action at work. It didn't come from heart.. It's almost like involutarily she has been trained so well by her Baa that slavery just flows in her nerves like blood, but there is a difference between resolute unpaid maid and an unpaid maid due to habit..
