Episode begins with Anupamaa’s confrontation with Moti baa , Prem’s grand maa MD Khyaati ‘s MIL on the street as her driver is speeding away and was about to run over Radha . Anupama asks the woman to apologise to Radha and scold her driver . The lady refuses to budge and states that nothing has happened , the middle class people feel too much authorised. Anupama retorts back that the affluent class feels they own the place n can do what ever they want . Anupama fumes as the woman offers a thick wad of cash stating it’s one lakh to make good any harm done . Anupama adds one rupee and states she is giving her olne lakh and one rupee as Shagun so that she gets some brains and good manners and etiquette and ethics which she lacks badly .
The woman fumes as Anupama states that the affluent think money can buy everything but sad y it is not so . All this commotion gathers a huge crowd of passers by and all start accusing the affluent lady . The driver apologises on behalf of his mistress and a cot s he is speeding n his fault . The crowd accuses the affluent lady sitting inside the car of passing the blame on his poor performance employee. Finding herself over powered n crowd frenzy the woman apologises to janta Janardan . And then she is allowed to drive away . Moti baa then co tact’s her son Parag who fumes and asks her to remember the face of the woman who co fro ted her , he will teach her a lesson , Moti baa also vouches to teach Anupama a lesson .
Janki Ben , Radha and Anupama gather the scattered veggies back into their bags and return home .
At Krishn Kunj Anupama narrates the ordeal and all accuse the affluent of taking advantage of the poor . All then get busy with Sankranti celebrations , Rahi makes kites and adds initials of Prem and Rahi on one kite . Mahi also makes one kite and adds Prem’s and her initials on the kite . She can always pray for their reunion even if he was not with her right now l prem calls Rahi and they have romantic chit chat over the phone . Mahi over hears Rahi and gets jealous and angry .
All are dressed up for their kite flying festival . Mahi is looking nice in a new red suit . All tease her for glowing n looking so pretty . She misses Prem . All are shocked as Mahi arrives dressed up like a bride and Baa taunts her for getting so over dressed . Mahi jokes about getting dressed up for someone special .
Anupama asks everyone to fly their kites solo , they do not make any partners . Rahi misses Prem as he is away taking care of an ailing friend . Mahi is happy to see Prem not with Rahi as she would not be a key to tolerate watching them together . Pakhi taunts Anupama that she wa snit allowing partners as she herself was alone . Babuji are happy to see tha he will be alone n not with Baa who fights with everyone .
Anupama wants tk do some last minute checks regarding the huge orders from Kotharis for their Sankranti Pooja catering . The family pleads Anupama tk join the celebrations and festivities before going off to Rasoi . Anupama agrees .
Anupama and the entire Shah family enjoys kite flying . Mahi is upset seeing Rahi’s kite with R &P initials.

Anupama and Rahi are returning g home after doing the huge grocery shopping for their next huge order ,. At a signal their scooty gets misbalanced because of the huge grocery bags and accidentally grazes against the expensive car belonging to Parag Kothari . He fumes and gets the driver to note the number of the scooty and vouches they will have to pay the price for this . Anupama and Rahi speed away unawares of what happened . .
