BTW, Rakhi is a grey shaded character not entirely negative. Yes, the writers tried their best to villanize her but the reasons are plain hilarious. I respect it wholeheartedly. What am I supposed to say is that apart from cooking and babysitting,a mother has other duties towards her child as well. Let me think:
1. To begin with, teaching the child to respect parents (both) first.
Punish them irrevocably.
2. Leading by example in being grateful and humble.
3. Teach to take ownership and take responsibility of one's actions.
4. Stand up for what is right and neither take others for granted nor allow others to run ALL over you.
5. Teach to be Independent and self-reliant. Learn to endeavour and make yourself worthy.

In context of Kinjal.
She has no locus standi in blaming Rakhi for anything. It was Kinjal who left a lactating 1 month baby for a good week - 10 days at the mercy of Shahs and Anupama to go for a conference in Mumbai.
Rakhi comes from an age where maternity leave was limited and flexi-working conditions for returning mothers was unheard of. Kinjal had multiple options but chose to travel alone.
Kinjal is able to stay without being taunted, abused because there is the fear of Rakhi. Warna educated, strong toh Kavya, Nandini bhi the. Unka kya haal hua, woh toh dikh hi raha hain.
Agar Mayka kamzor ya majboor ho toh Anupama jaisa haal karte.
For problems that Kinjal is facing, in my opinion, she is solely responsible for it. Her mother stood by her to take her and her child to Dave's. She gave her an opportunity to build her life afresh but she chose to serve thankless Shahs.
Anupama serial ground rules are:
1. Anupama is the only and BESHT Maa. Others are not.
2. Characters (other than Anupama) can only be:

So true! C section is a major surgery. It takes months to recover and ladies already deal with postpartum depression and anxieties. They are physically and mentally vulnerable. Rakhi's decision was prudent and wise. She is Kinjal's strongest support system,her shield else Shah's would have devoured her long back.
