Hahaha serves me right

I started watching this show only because I saw a trailer of Anuj entering and read some reviews about the show and thought ok this is something different for ITV. THEN Anuj had me in his trance for a good few months I must admit. I couldn’t get enough. Damn he was AMAZING. Perfect one liners. Perfectly modestly putting people in their place. Perfectly love lorn. Perfect unrequited love. Perfect stillness and yet restlessness in love. He would bring modernisation. Some personal development in Anupama. Some actual weight to her character. Her ideologies.

SO AMAZING! I was READY for it.

But alas I forgot this is ITV ki duniya. It’s all a facade. Eventually when you peel the layers back it is all just Saas bahu crap. The female empowerment outlook is just a token. To lure people in. People like me. So really serves me right coz I gave them the trp lol.

Bob do not feel guilty a lot of people were lured. What is worse,they actually promote the show as progressive with such bad storylines.

There is nothing new here, its as stale as Anupamaa's kichidi 🤢

We are all idiots here. No shit.

Some of us watched for Anuj. Some for the romance. Some for the drama. Some (shockingly) even for Anu.

The story was, at least in the initial phase, woven beautifully. Brought to life by the portrayal by its leads. A show about how even the ordinary and the middle aged can get second chances in love.
But we all forgot the inherent nature of ITV. The writing is always inept and immature, meant to cater to the less educated. Things have gone downhill since last year and now its full fledged chaos.

The production house is interested in only money and hence need to keep the serial going and they probably ran out of storylines. I have stopped watching currently because its messing with my mental health. I don’t want to get anxiety from tv, real life is enough for that.

Moral of the story, there are far better means of entertainment. Lets all stop watching this horrid show.

Everyone in my family now hates anuj.

Anuj was kept on a such a high pedestal for viewers that they r shocked.

No, you are not. So am I. I started watching back mid September 2022, after seeing a clip thinking this show looks good, something close to my age. Mother with grown kids, husband, and in-laws. I got lured in. My stupidity.

Thankfully I woke up from this stupid coma by Mid-December of 2022, after seeing this great mother lay next to her youngest child on a dirty footpath contemplating life, I guess.🤦🏻‍♀️.

Her maturity is of a 15-year-old teenager. Even Ca acts more mature than her.🤦🏻‍♀️

Even though I am done with her everyday look-at-poor-me drama, I found trolling more fun and just posting here with these fine folks even better.🥰
