I might be wrong but you know sometimes what I feel, more than the character it is the actor's problem. I hope you are getting what I am trying to say.

are all the lead actresses/actors of all the TV shows like this?

kya sare shows ke leads ko accha lagta hai ki focus sirf unke character par rahe? I am again saying, my assumption might be wrong.

This is not just about the character, I think whenever they try to focus on any other character the main actor starts feeling bad about something which I don't know, I used the word bad because I did not wanted to use the word insecure.

It is just my assumption, but my question is that does this thing happens in every serial, kya sare lead actors ko koi naa koi insecurity hoti hai?

Also, many times, it is the makers' agenda. Their main motive is money so they want to stick to what works and fetches money for them. There was a time, not too long ago, that the heroine always ended up with the main male lead, no matter how terrible he was. Until it worked, it worked. Now the time is when a female lead gets second male lead. So my point is they make the female lead bechari and mahaan because it works. When something else starts working, they will change.

Leads are paid highest that's why PH pure nichod leta hai.. side characters r paid less.

Sometimes leads r overworked too n r seen sleeping during sets still it's in their contract so they have to work.

Deepika from sasural Simar ka used to say she used to sleep in her car because of her hectic schedule.

It must be Indian Soaps only. I have not seen this in American Soaps or Korean drama that my kids some times make me watch nor Pakistani soap.

Only thing I hate about Pakistani soaps is they drag out their dramas too long with unnecessarily add on’s to make you hate them. I quit watching Pakistani drama for that reason. My patience runs out.

Other countries have tv serials n they come with new seasons so story is finite but in India we have daily soaps who keep on running for years. Ye rishta kya kehlata is running since 2009 without any story just grand weddings, seperation with kid then leap like a merry go round.

I like Pakistani soaps but sometimes they show more patriarchal behaviour which i don't like.
