A Hypothetical Situation

Let's assume, after getting caught at the resort with Adhik, Pakhi decides to run far away from her parents as she feels she is the reason for the humiliation her parents faced. But, she lies to MAA that she is going away as she is not happy with her parents but secretly confides the truth to Anuj. The below-mentioned scenarios follow:

1. While MAA tries to convince Pakhi to not leave, Anuj locks her inside a room. He tells her to let Pakhi go as Pakhi's happiness lies in leaving. Each time, MAA tries to open the door, he grabs MAA by her Pallu to stop her. Each time MAA's hands reach the lock, he pulls them away from the lock.

2. Pakhi leaves. MAA slips into severe depression. Seeing MAA losing herself, one day Anuj demands her to converse with him. He asks her why is she ignoring him. When she leaves without answering him, she pulls him toward her. He screams at her for ignoring him, and not talking to him. She finally speaks up. She says that she feels suffocated in this house without her daughter.

3. GK and Mukku accuse MAA of neglecting Anuj. They call her insensitive for using a harsh tone while talking to Anuj.

4. Anuj asks her to forget the bygones and prepare for Holi as it is CA's first Holi.

5. MAA begs Anuj to not force her to celebrate Holi as she is not over Pakhi yet. While she is leaving to sleep in another room, Anuj grabs her hand, pulls her closer to him, kisses her shoulder, and tries to get intimate with her.

6. GK begs MAA to celebrate Holi with Anuj as his Holi will be colourless without him. Only for Anuj's sake, MAA pulls herself together to celebrate the Holi. She sees Anuj putting colours on CA, smiling, and dancing. Anuj greets her Happy Holi. She asks him how could he greet a grieving mother Happy Holi. Seeing Anuj happy with CA, she remembers Holis with Pakhi. She loses her cool, throws colours on the floor, breaks down, and leaves. GK and Mukku feel she is overacting and hurting Anuj.

After reading this story, as a neutral reader, with whom do you sympathize more? If MAA was your daughter, sister, friend, or acquaintence, would you want her continue the relationship?

The neutral and sane readers know very well who to root for and when. If you are expecting the stans to even consider a different pov then that is never going to happen as they are as stubborn and brainless as their idol.

I have seen most people here criticise and troll both Anuj and Anupamaa. In fact I still believe that the rushed decision to get CA or even the marriage is Anuj's fault but have you ever noticed Andhbhakts of Anupamaid try and consider that she could be wrong at times. Even if they root for her, she can't always be right but then again that's why they are stans.

There's always a ready justification for her actions. Sometimes Baa bhagwaan is at fault, other times it's Mishter Shah, Sometimes she has gone for her kids which can't be questioned, other times Anuj is being unreasonable. As if all the characters exist only to torment her and order her around and she is so innocent, naive, gullible that she's always taken in by her words. Are these actually stans, or the PH people/their PR because this is exactly the vision they want people to believe 🤣

Your earnest appeal here is sadly going to fall on deaf ears

A lot of times I have felt comments can get so divisive because you can watch the show in two completely different and extreme ways.

How the makers want you to see it vs How much you see the makers

Oh Anu keeps having dreams about Anuj and Choti, poor Anu, Anuj does not see her pain vs What kind of cheap tactics are the makers using to try and make viewers feel "Poor Anu, Anuj does not see her pain"

I would say be consistent. If Anupama/Anuj behaving out of character warrants criticism for makers then their behaving according to character warrants appreciation for makers. Do not change goalposts with each match.

Very fair in principle, very fair. Although - I haven't felt like appreciating the makers in years, hmm, because even when some characters might behave in character occasionally, it feels more accidental and more like part of a larger plot of forced glorification of Maa. But I'm sure you understand all this - but yes, I'm with the principle!

This is why I don't appreciate/criticize makers. I stick to character trolling which is more relaxing 😌😌😌😌

My anger for Anupa has reached a new level.

Everyone saw what she did but still turned amnesiacs for her misdoings. They all turn blind to her wrong deeds. LIKE THEY LITERALLY FORGOT WHAT SHE DID ...😡

She didn't make Anuj aware of Chotis thoughts. She became the reason for father daughter separation. Now choti is living with the assumption that she was really the cause of her foster parents misery because her foster mother didn't clear her misunderstandings and so is Anuj thinking that he is a bad father. All because of Anupa.

But still makers are busy turning Anuj into a villain and Anupa as a victim .

Why are her deeds forgiven ???

This fictional show is not worth my time because no matter what I can't tolerate such insensitivity towards a depressed man who has been cheated by manipulative liar wife. And i know that he will soon be back worshipping her because TRP... 😒

I can't tolerate this anymore. Im not watching this again ever.
