1) abuse
2) childhood trauma/trauma
3) conditioning
Long ago ITV fans learnt these three words and haven't shut up since then 🤣
Kuch bhi justify karna ho apne favourite characters ka in teen words ko mooh par fek k maarte hai aur ek emotional paragraph taiyaar karte hai 😆
well written post, yes👏🏼 but does it belong here? no!
this show has made a mockery of every serious social issue…I do not trust the creatives one bit, they may intend to showcase such sensitive issues with care but always end up making a joke of it.

Eventhough I agreed with the perspective posted wholeheartedly, something was making me a bit uncomfortable - the mammoth mismatch between the show - which is a hotchpotch mixture of psychological nightmares (yes, thinking of your words), and the level of utmost sensitivity in this opinion.
I think you've hit the nail on the head - I've reached a stage where, in most cases, the opinions I take seriously are the opinions that don't take this show seriously!

True..
If we hadn't witnessed the makers messing up in showing social issues in such a horrendous manner, butchering characters on the way, stampeding on the storyline, this post would have probably seemed connectable and people would have sympathised. Alas...
Itna deep nahi hai these sequence of events. IMO.

This. I'm finding it hard to relate a serious scenario with these shoddily written characters who never exhibit any sense. I don't think the makers/writers intend to show any depth whatsoever, whatever analysis that comes up is a result of people applying humour or critical thought such as what we do here, on one end and the stans on sm who are obsessed with these characters and have humanised them, on the other end.
How the fans do research
How BV actually writes
Don't take this show or characters seriously... Honestly there isn't a single useful social message in this show nor are the characters arc properly defined or developed
He’s essentially a good person who’s grown up insecure because he grew up in an orphanage, always felt like an alien and craved for something to call his own. His generosity and desperation for love have grown out of reasonable bounds and become his downfall because these things have grown so big, they’ve pushed his brain out 😢
At some level he knows Anupama is a user but he’d rather die than admit it to himself and cut his losses. Unpopular opinion: I understand and even sympathise with his stance on choti because in a world that’s out to pick him clean, she feels like the only pure, genuine thing; a ray of light in pitch darkness if you will. Moreover, the emotional connect is further strengthened by the fact that they’ve both grown up in orphanages with the constant sting of rejection :(
So yes, all heart and no brain makes Anuj a dull albeit pitiable man
These days Anupama is showing off by remembering Anuj. But the truth is Anuj was ruined by Anupama. Dear Anupama, I hear that you remember me...
