Epilogue

After 8 years, Anuj, Maaya, Choti, and their youngest daughter, Niyati were on their way on a camping trip. Anuj was busy reading some documents, while Maaya was driving the car.

As they drove through the winding roads, Anuj couldn't help but feel nostalgic. It had been a long time since they had gone on a family camping trip. The last time they went, Choti was only 8 years old, and now she was a teenager. Just then he remembered something and got worried.

Anuj: I have something to confess.

Maaya: Don't. It's been less than a year since you got a new laptop for Choti, and six months since you got a new tablet for Niyati.

Anuj: No, it's not that.

Maaya: After a long time we are going camping. But if you suddenly tell me that you want to confess something, wouldn't I be startled? So, what it is?

Anuj: I got the burner and the equipment for the campfire and sleeping bags. I even brought a beam projector so you and the kids could watch movies.

Hearing about movies, Niyati got excited.

Niyati: Maa, I want to watch Frozen.

Choti: Aren't you sick of that? Watching it every day won't turn you into Elsa. And you look like Olaf.

Niyati: Maa, see she is..

Maaya: Niyati, if you cry right now, I won't let you watch it. Choti, if you keep teasing her, I'll deduct 45 minutes from your game time.

Choti: Stop calling me Choti. I am not a kid anymore.

Maaya: Yes you are. (Looked at Anuj) And you, keep talking.

Anuj: I made sure to bring everything but I... forgot the tent.

Maaya: What?

Niyati, Choti: Papa...

After the intensity of all the romance so far (and so beautifully done too), this is such a charming way to end the story - so cute!

Oh no, my imagination also flew and crashed reading this. Let it be khichdi, khichdi is the besht.

It was a normal day. Baa was craving for some khichdi and of course, she wanted only Anupamaa's khichdi. Calling her up immediately because it was an emergency, she was met with a lot of disturbances on the network..

"Baa...abhi mein Kapadia ka private jet chala rahi huun...mein baad mein call karti huun, theek hai?"

"Woh sab theek hai. Mein isliye - " Baa suddenly realises. "KYAAAA? TUNE KYA BOLA?"

"Ekdam sahi suna aapne Baa, mein ab pilot bhi huun" Anupama giggles.

Once realisation strikes, Baa goes back to her default mode. "Woh sab theek hai. Mujhe tumhari khichdi khane ka boht man kar raha hai. Woh kachumbar..., acchar...aur pappad ke saath jo tum banate ho? Wohi vala wohi vala. Tera Bapuji ko bhi pasand hai..tu yahan aaja. Private jet land karke jaldi aaja. Aaja aaja."

"Aree Baa mein aa jaaungi aa jaaungi. Khichdi bhi phataphat bana duungi aur jet land bhi phataphat kar duungi.

Lekin aap shabashi nahi denge? Ye hai Anupamaa ki...asli udaaan!"

"Haan haan badhai ho - ab tu jaldi..."

Anupama tugs at her choti with swag. One hand on phone, one hand on choti, she loses control.

The jet accelerates towards Shah house.

"Baaa....hatto hatto hattoo"

"Tu kya hatto hatto laga rakha hai -" Baa looks out of the window and sees a jet crashing into...

"AAAAAAAAAAA"
