Why didn't they understand that they don't live in the US? Actually even in the US, such children find acceptance with difficulty.

My husband's brother and SIL who adopted a baby girl from a low caste family who were having their third child but couldn't afford to feed her, are still facing taunts from the community, even after 5 years and even though she is a legitimate child.

For the first time ever, I am waiting for Baa Baa Black sheep to bring out her guns and charge.

The guy whom she trusted might have cheated and sold. Or she has been brought in that for daily needs. Or for her baby she might have started that profession. They should see the movie Chandni Bar. The movie is based on the painful ordeals told by bar dancers of Mumbai.

I really don't feel like this show qualifies for a progressive women empowering category. For all it has done is defending the shameless acts of cheaters and abusers.

The show really questions your sanity glorifying all the negatives . It's this forum that keeps me sane.

i have not watched such mvie when did it come out

anyways i know that in india mostly women are sold or trapped into prostitution or bar dancing by family or hubby or kidnapped and pushed into it as they have no jobs etc

no woman goes happily into such profession anywhere

As per makers, only shameless shahs are sanskari and the crimes they do are basically choti moti galtiyan aur jhagde, jo har parivaar mein hota hai so what better can be expected from a show where these are presented as the ideal characters 🤣

When ghar ka chiraag Doshu cheated on his pregnant wife it was termed as a result of anger issues. The solution for that was rehab and then pretending to have changed. So now the bahu-slave should adjust for the sake of phemli otherwise she is bad and selfish.

This issue will be treated similarly without even an attempt to address the real causes 🤡
