So what if you grew fond of them? How can that be greater than a mother yearning for her estranged separated child? He is morally wrong. He has no rights over Choti Anu so frankly Maaya doesn't even need to fight the custody battle because she isnt adopted yet. And if Choti Anu already has a rich biological mother the chances of it being a fraudulent claim is less.

Exactly! The chances of her wanting land or money will not even be an issue if she wasn’t wealthy herself. She just wants her child back whom she was forced to be separated from.

True, I just wish CA goes with her real mother and lives happier with her. I bet she’ll have a better life with Maaya than Maan could ever give her.

Any child would be better off living with their bio-parent, or relative than having Maa as a mother.
I would prefer an orphanage/foster home over toxicity of Maa and her never-ending family dramas with panic attacks. I feel sorry Ca having to put up with her as a step-mom.

Poor CA scary how she has to stay with a toxic person like Maa who does not even care about her. I hope CA opens up to Maaya about the trauma that Maa and Shahs have given her.

I have a feeling she doesn’t need too! Maya has it already.😂.

I know right!🙄. Even Anuj will say it or could say, Anu, if your bored, why don’t you run over and make your five minute kichari for Baa or whatever she was making that day.😂

But the question is why was CA abandoned/separated from her biological mother if she was wealthy enough...Given many reasons, the fact remains that CA was in an orphanage when MaAn found her and started legal proceedings to adopt/foster her. Typically I don't think CA will be given custody to her biological mother without CA's wish. I think in the legal proceedings, they ask the child who they want to stay with. If CA says she wants MaAn, Maaya cannot do anything.

MaAn are living with CA so they are responsible of taking important decisions from day to day basis, about school, extra curricular activities, etc. You cannot have just another person coming into their lives posing as biological parents and change the rhythm of the child and with Vanraj's statement about the integrity of Maaya is also to be considered. Maybe she is fake otherwise why she was hiding, stalking MaAn and taking videos to provide as evidence.

Whatever the reason was, she was separated, by Maya’s own words, not her choice, was forced too and why, is what I want to know too. She acts more of a mother than Anu. Yesterday two parents were crying for eventual losing custody of Ca, neither of them was Anu. I also believe she is minor so judge will feel what is in her best interest not what two people who were fostering her say.

There is the realistic aspect and then there is the Anupama aspect.

Coming to the Realistic aspect. If I am not wrong, for children >=9 years will be consulted before granting custody. However Choti Anu is shown to be Choti so it would have to be fought in court.

Come to think of it, one adopts a child and nurtures and raises him/her and one fine day the biological parent comes to claim their child, it is not fair on the child or the foster parent. No parent, biological or adoptive can bear to give up on the child they raise.

Now the Anupama aspect. No other character should be coming anywhere close to Shahs and Kapadias.

Anuj seems to have longed to raise a family and she truly is his daughter. Cannot say that about Anupama. She doesn't seem to have, nor seems to attempt to build a bond. If tomorrow they show Choti Anu going ALL gaga over Anupama, I would be surprised.

Maaya has enough proof that the growing up environment is not conducive to a child and there have been many instances of ill treatment.

The only thing that matters to Maa is how to keep her ATM happy and in her hand. Anupama, will say and do whatever Anuj wants her to do not because of what is good for Ca from a mother's point of view (not that she has a bond)but as a spouse who is afraid of losing her husband over him losing custody of this child he has bonded with and wants to adopt.

In my opinion it would be a lot better for drama if they made Anuj(I still think, they can)the father and kept Maya permanent in Ahmedabad. Both Anuj and Maya get joint custody with Ca stays with her mother, has weekly visit with Anuj, with every other weekend visits and alternative holidays and six weeks in summer, like divorce parents do in USA.

I get to see Maa having panic attack every time, Ca has issues, nightmares, and Anuj runs to his child’s house to deal with her issue🤣. Maya can’t say anything because unlike her grown kids, Ca is still a young child.😂 Every time Ca wants her parents to take her shopping or zoo, Anuj, can and will say sorry, Anu, I have plans with Maya and Choti, she wants us to take here and there.🤣

There is so much drama in keeping Maya/Anuj as bio parents. 🤣 Anupama will be having an insecurity-induced panic attack every time Anuj runs out the door for his daughter’s issues, and plans with her parents.🤣.. So much meaty drama.🤣

Also they will have the option of making Anuj MCP 🤣
