Why didn't Anuj Kapadia, the savvy businessman, question the various atrocities of this Buddha's family towards his family.

Respect is a two-way street. You give some to get some. And gone are the days where Elders are ALWAYS right. Elders are NOT always right! They also make mistakes and it is okay to call them out on it, respectfully. Not that this Buddha-Buddhi deserve any kind of respect.
