Next step for Anuj

So what should be the best next step of Anuj? We all know what Maa is going to say! Mera dil jaanta hai..bla bla surri surri. Panic attack..shit face crying

But what would Anuj do? I know nothing can fix maa or shah family but I am sure the way Anuj has been saying the right things for last one week, he will have even better response to this fraud Maa and wife.

Please share ideas friends, I am curious.

I would like to see a track of introspection from Anuj. Whenever he has tried to talk and explain to Anu the necessity and importance of setting boundaries with the Shah 's she has never reciprocated or validated his words. She has been quiet and her expressions I feel we're looking hurt that he is asking her to do this. He needs to have a flashback regarding these and realize that Anu does not really love him and will not be able to put the needs of CA before those of her 3 adult children and grandchild.

Anuj has been showering his unconditional love on Anupamaa, has been supportive of her decisions, he stood by her irrespective of the inconvenience to him. All he asks in return is some time for his child and him. He doesn’t even ask for full time dedication as he knows that she has children from previous marriage. He has tried everything from requests to pleadings but all falls on deaf ears. Now it’s time for him to realize whatever he does, she will never prioritize choti and him over her flesh and blood and her need to seek validation from abusers. Now he needs to take a stand for the kiddo, that is his child if not by blood but by heart and choice. He needs to take all the responsibility of Choti himself, dedicate all his love and attention to the kiddo and probably GK kaka and leave the Mahaan Maa to be the phataphat doormat maid for the Tamashah House.

Yes. He should stop going uff uff for the leftovers thrown at him and another important thing is to stop treating her like she is world's 8th wonder.

No need to glorify her as there is no reason at all.

Right. He needs to introspect every single time she put shah before him as well, not just CA alone. And even think about the time she went dancing the morning after his seizures and continuing problems like partial paralysis and memory loss.

While with Mr. Shah she never stepped outside his house. Did not even go to her original maayka for 25 years except for a couple of times.

The first rational step for Anuj should be to go to a quiet place for a while to clear his head. Then, he should glimpse into the times he met AnupaMaa 26 years later. He should analyze every encounter they had starting from the reunion party. Then, he should ask himself if AnupaMaa was the woman he loved for 26 years. He should ask whether the image he had of MAA in his mind matches the real MAA. Finally, he should find the answer to the most important question which is whether he is still the man he used to be after he met AnupaMaa. Once he gets answers to the above questions, he can accept that MAA is not the Goddess he worships her to be. She is a selfish, hypocritical, and manipulative woman who still has feelings for her ex-husband, and she prioritizes anything related to him over her husband and adopted daughter. Once he has accepted that his Anu has her share of flaws, he should confront her in front of the Shahs. He should point out the hypocrisies and manipulations of the Shahs starting from the snake king Bapuji. Then, he should give her relief from the responsibilities of him and his daughter. He has to take the entire responsibility for his daughter. Expecting anything from that woman would lead to heartaches only. He should cut the toxic Shahs completely from his and his daughter's life. Baa-Bapuji is not his parents, Vanraaj is not his friend and the three selfish duos are not his kids. He should live with the woman as if she does not exist.
