Baa will never learn it seems.

We saw in the latest episode that Baa gets insecure because Vanraj told Kavya to take care of Kinjal and help her in everything and she insists that 'Mai abhi zinda hoo!'. The way she reacted when Kavya politely told her not to crack repetitive jokes at her expense shows that she will leave no opportunity to insult her current daughter in law.

Earlier also, she used to dislike Anupamaa and abused and tortured her for 25 years and even after the divorce because she couldn't bear to see her progressing. In the precap series also Leela is shown to be a very bitter woman who is barely restrained by Moti Baa. In the recent episode she says that 'Anupamaa ko Moti Baa ne sar chadaya tha aur Kinjal ko Anupamaa ne. Mujhse nahi hota ki mai bahu ko dost banake rakhu.' Um...okay sure. Nobody expects you to be BFFs with your DIL or to even consider her your daughter. But how hard is it to give another woman some basic respect and humanity? You can't always hide under the pretext of 'Mai ghar ki badi hoo. Mere zamane mei bahu hamesha saas aur dadi saas se sikhti thi'. She had some issues with Anupamaa and now she dislikes 'Maide ki katori' because she isn't a pushover and is a normal, modern girl who does her own thing. Baa was insisting that Anupamaa should take back her cheating husband and be submissive to him. However, I always see Leela telling her husband to shut up and even in the pre-series, she used to show a lot of defiance to Moti Baa.

The whole point of this rant is to highlight that Leela is the bad apple in the family who has given birth to and fostered the monsters we know like Vanraj, Toshu and Pakhi. The problem is that she got a very soft and submissive husband and once Moti Baa passed away, she went berserk and established her reign of terror. Right now she is only playing nice because of Kinjal's pregnancy but she is also getting irritated like us with Kinju baby's constant 'Mummy jaap' and will snap soon. I do wish this evil lady's behaviour was called out properly. Toshu was the only one who pointed it out and this became an issue of respecting elders and sanskar. Even after her perfect son kicked her out due to her rant against Bapuji, she still didn't learn her lesson. The sad part is that Anupamaa keeps on worshipping her and ignores her biological mother while Anuj has also joined the Leela fanclub.

Baa is the root of all evil in Shah house. She gave birth to mini devil Vanraaj and raised to be a complete evil. Anu has called out on V's hypocrisy one or two times but she never calls out on Baa's hypocrisy. She has made Anuj worship Baa.

Why only Leela, even Mr.Hansmukh hasn't learnt to stand up for the right.

That is why I mentioned on another post, anyone who identifies herself as Bahu, Bhabhi from the second generalization has no regard whatsoever. Saara pyaar samaan bhi Anupama ko beti banne ke baad hi mila na?
