Maharashtrian say I instead of U in words e.g. Sanskruti, not sanskriti. (found out in an IAS Officer's mock interview)

Most of the tv industry being Maharashtrians are used to U instead of I but Anupama being a gujrati should have said Sanskriti, right. But correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not a Gujrati 🤗

It's U in Gujarati as well... My mother is gujarati and she says words like "Sanskruti", "Krushna", "Krupa" etc while speaking in Gujarati. Though while talking in hindi, she pronouces it normally like us.

I had read somewhere in an interview that Rups is part Maharashtrian. I tried to find out if her mother is maharashtrian but I couldn’t. Also she speaks good Marathi. She talked to Arvind Vaidya (Bapuji) in marathi in her IG live.

In Gujarati, it is U and not I but then AnupaMA does not speak real Gujarati. She mauls gujarati tbh.

Let me clarify on behalf of all gujaratis, we can speak "matlab" we dont pronounce it as "mattlab".

I will talk about my mom's generation and they can also pronounce sorry, fusion, thank you, mee(main)!
