Watching yesterday's episode, I learned a very important lesson about life. If you love your family, you must make them realize how much they mean to you on each and every occasion. Expressing your love and emotions on every occasion is must.
For example: If it is Rakshabandhan (festival of brother and sister), you must tie Rakhi to MIL, FIL, and husband also. It's Rakhi, it does not mean you will forget your husband and his family.
If it's karvachauth, you must write the name of papa, mummy, and brother other than husband on your hands with mehndi. The same logic applies here.
If you go on date, take your Papa, Mummy, Dada, Dadi, Brother, and Sister along with you. You have a BF or GF, what it means; you will forget your family. Not done. Family first.
If there is a baby's mundan in your family, everyone must have got mundan; bechara bacche ka akele ka mundan kyun; you must show love to him also.
Now, coming to the point
I have not attended any lavish wedding functions but middle-class functions only. The differences between the Mehndi function of a middle-class family and the Mehndi function as a part of the Lavish wedding Of Maan ,which I observed were

Thankfully, a new guest Mika has arrived, so what if he has come for promotion of his serial.
People book a hall or fix a tent outside their home.
Everything is managed inside shah's house. Even a single waiter is not reqd. BTW, waiters are needed to serve the food; here, what’s to be served?
People use cars, hired cabs or taxis
No need for cars, walking ki walking, talking ki talking. What an idea sir jee
There is a separate stage or DJ for dance performances
Leave a separate place for dance, there was not enough space to stand comfortably. They danced in shifts. Reflects team spirit, cooperation, and coordination.
Cold drinks, snacks are served throughout function.
Weather is changing, people will catch cold n cough, health first
How can you think about snacks, snacks banana waalo ki shaadi hai nahi toh Anuj samosa,dhokla, halwa and Anu thepla, faafda and burger bana deti.
Outside food is very unhealthy. So they don’t prefer outside food. Har cheez -dhokla,thepla, samosa, halwa, ghar mei banta hai. Baccho ki aur unke pita ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi toh.kisi ko toh sochna padega.
3-to 4 mehndi artists are booked.
In shahs, everyone is an expert, they can apply on their own. Strong bonding you know. BTW, this type of mehndi can be applied by anyone. May be baabu ji ne manicure ke saath mehandi lagana bhi youtube se seekh liya ho.
Everyone chooses her own mehndi design
Baapuji chose the mehndi design for Anupama and everyone wanted to have the same design.
Baapuji ne itna dimag pehle lagaya hota toh vanraj aur baa dono thoda control mei hote.Pedicure , mehandi mei inka dimaag hai.
Dhol bajaane waale comes from outside.
Dhol bhi yeh khud hi bajayenge ( wedding mei Band bhi Anuj khud hi baja raha hoga).
When so many multi-talented people are there. What's the need to arrange or hire from outside.
Arrangement for dinner
Khane ki tum log baat bhi mat karna, shaadi mei bus sabse pehle yahi dekhte ho ki khane mei kya hai. Shaadi malab khana
People will dance and enjoy, bus ussi se pet bhar jaata hai. Waise bhi ghar ke logo ko bhookh hi kahan lagti hain why to waste money then?? Mehandi, sangeet ho gaya, apne apne ghar jakar kha lena.
Thanks to Anupama, I have got a chance to see a lavish function in my life. You people must have attended lavish functions, plz enlighten me; aise hi hote hai lavish wedding functions.
