This man is accepting you the way you are and doing things which you like then it is your duty to keep him happy coz you also love him.

aur aaj SBS mein bhi bola ki maan shadi bahut charcha mein rahegi so lag raha ye prequel ki shooting khata hote hi kuch acche episode milenge humein

I understand your point here too. Here makers writing went to gutter. Vanya k matter me uska bolne ka koi mtlb nae h. Baa ka jaap mujhe samjh nae aa rha k akhir kitna jyada pyaar h usko. Baapuji ko wo mana nae kregi wo usse pyaar krte h rahi baat Anuj ki insult ki uske liye makers dikhate h k wo unko bolne nae deti h. You never abandoned your child. Tune mere muh ki baat bol di. I was also thinkinh the same, this slow pace of episodes seems due to prequel.
