I have never seen such society around me.

PLEASE NOTE ANUPAMA’S case is of DIVORCEE LADY NOT WIDOW LADY so let’s stick to divorce part only.

Apart from the children there is no binding for a divorcee to ex in-laws. And children's custody is decided if they are minor at the time of divorce so that there is no hassle.

So noone can force anything unless someone gives that right to ex in laws herself or himself.

This is not X-dil or beti, this is free ki full time maid going away. Ask your mom and neighbours around, maid not coming to work is really big concern for them. They use saam daam dand bhed ko keep there maids in their house only and not go to neighbours.

@bold : this is true...Anu is Mahaan Tyaag ki Devi aka Masochist.

Anuj will either need to learn to stay single even after marriage. Or he will become a Ghar Jamai. Of Shah house aka Naukar number 2 aka Anupama 2.0

Makers won't let him run away but make him a show piece, side character as lollipop for online viewers.

We can apply the same logic for Anupama too. If someone is hurling abuses for a long period of time, one would stay away from them.

We can extrapolate the same example and say that if someone tries to harm a dog/animal.... the dog would bark/bite. But not come back to the same place/person who harmed.

That means hatred is greater than love compassion? Maine to suna hai chahe koi kitna नफरत kare but ant mein hamesha pyaar jeeta ta hai. Yes I know anupama face abuse for so many years but she love them so could her care love could not move baa heart In all these years, I still dont understand .ok baa could not love anupama but at least basic humanity should be there for anupama ? Even baa don't have basic himsnty towards anupama?
