Also to add my observation, I saw the security guard caressing left bicep during after hours and blabbering something disturbing. (p.s. - I can not share that here as there are 12 yr olds who wander around here and I do not want them to end up like security guard's kids)
I'm glad the trustees of the mandir have taken swift action to make attempts to restore order in the temple. This new notice was much needed. The din of the tolling bells over the past couple of days had become unbearable. The rumble of discontent in the neighbourhood was beginning to reach global mods' ears. And that would be the death knell for this hallowed space. It was giving me "it tolls for thee" vibes.
While this notice will invoke exactly the opposite reaction in said under 12's, as has been the case since time immemorial, Komal and I will attempt to divert their attention with a special pyaar tactic which we have been working on for a decade. We haven't found a naam for it yet, but I know it will capture their attention and keep them khush. At least the jalebis will. Thank you for providing us with a platform to carry over our SKD to AD.
In the interest of full disclosure, I would like to confess that Komal is not fully dialled into it as yet, but has kindly agreed to go along in view of my (manic) zeal.
I hope and pray that the comprehensive checks you intend carrying out will prevent further sullying of the sanctity of the temple.
Could I please confirm that Komal and I have a free pass to wander peacefully after closing hours. You had mentioned it as one of the perks being offered to all volunteers. In the interest of avoiding future MU's could we please have that in writing. Thank you.
A word of advice before I sign off, since you have been so accommodating, I wouldn't keep the existing security guard if I were you. He may be able to ward off pests with a mere flaring of a nostril and a flash of a throbbing vein, but he's also assuming the contents of the donation box are his by haq.
Yours in pyaar,
