I had so hoped this show won't go the usual ITV way.

U know I participated in a Star scriptwriting contest and got selected as well - didn't join coz they had a 2 year contract. But at the time, over a 2 day residential testing process at Taj Lands End (they spent a bunch of money on us) made us write stories, dialogues, do narrations, take ongoing plots fwd, writing complex characters, interweaving various threads in seamless but complex plotting etc etc .

They made tall claims about privileging writing, taking the road less travelled blah blah. I genuinely thought that w the first ever positive masculinity portrayal (GK as AK of course) in ITV drama, they were finally acting on their word. I know you all have mentioned MLs like Barun Sobti, Karan Singh Grover etc. I checked them out and they were not a patch on the AK character. I mean they are still pretty toxic. I don't find rich arrogant MCPs sexy at all. And to me, that's what they seemed like, albeit just by reading brief plot synopsis. I'm sure the actors are great, but the characters didn't have the lethal combo of success, humility, good looks, sexiness and a genuine respectful attitude toward everyone esp. women.

Gaurav Bhattacharjee, STAR's content head chewed our brains off on "smart writing", "breaking the stereotypical mould" blah blah blah.

PAR NAHI.

But honestly, Gaurav ki wajah se abhi choda nahi jaa raha yeh "sardard" of a show. Koi toh bataa koi "de-addiction" remedy for this sexyswag ki "lath".

I love GK so i had to come watch this show but even Anuj's character is written so well. Sharp and strong where he has to be and no second thoughts on bending down where it means a lot. Such a humble and strong person at the same time! Call me stupid but I still have hopes. Hopes that he has trump card to keep mukku safe but at the same time he wants mukku to stop blaming him and learn a lesson on her own about judging ppl correctly! It's not just Anuj's bad decisions but even her own lack of judgment that has made her life the way it is.

Haven’t watch the epi and no idea if I will watch it later or not but going by precap and your update all I want to say is, writers know they are writing some cringe fest so all they are left with to salvage is give us parallel, rite now have no idea how I feel about it. Bec Atleast for me it’s not working and don’t find any parallel in anu leaving home and anuj leaving everything. Shah’s did make anu life miserable but Anuj is being miserable himself with his adopted jaap which I find highly offensive and disrespectful towards his parents, Khair what is done is done and with the precap we are back to square one, Vanraj is doing what he does the best that is manipulate.

He will now instigate the semi circle about anupama being in live in so that instead of asking him question about what he did, the shah clan specially Baa and toshu will start their tandav around Maan relationship.

Yaar I am so done with this shah repeat telecast, baa 4 dialogue bolai gi, bapuji 3 bolai gai jis ka koi faida nahi hoga. Toshu Merai papa karai gai, kinjal shut up toshu bolai gi. Samar mere mummy bolai ga, pakhi Merai papa hero hai bolai gi. Kavya will give some savage commentary in bg. Nothing more or nothing less.

They literally ruined Kapadia’s just for the sake of shah’s and their screen space. And plz can they stop giving bhari bhar kam dialogue to Anuj Bec at the end they make him do nothing. And anuj need to admit he did chose anu over his Behan and business(not that I mind) so plz stop this rona dhona, Ab let mukku be with her Raj and get her karma. Apna apna dekho sab bhai, Faltu kai emotional dramai lagai hain.

I am still not ok with what Anuj did but ab kar diya tu kar diya agai barho, stop this rona dhona.

I don’t know how I feel about confession at this point Bec it will most probably be triggered by one of the shah’s and I am so so done with that toxic family that I don’t know what to feel about it.

Khair they could have done it way way way better not only story wise but also regarding confession.

Khair hamarai bolnai sai Kya hota hai, they will do what they want to do.

I am loosing my patience episode by episode don’t how much more can I take it.

You're right. This cold blooded manipulation of a weak person is unbearable. Mujhe yeh psychological thrillers nahi pasand, I don't know why they're so happy to write such stories.

ok i dont understand one point.he gave away all properties to mukku,fine.but what is the necessity for anuj to break his relationship with his sister? isnt she his priority now? why cant he leave anupama,prove vanraj wrong and later mukku will herself understand about anupama.

vanraj ka ego is his enemy.he coyldntbtolerate anupama success,he by hook or crook wanter her to fail and fall at his feet.he had only hatred and vengence for her.he can never think good about her.

i am pissed off with anuj more for his hasty decision,just because we fight with our siblings we cannot see them getting destroyed in fromt of our eyes. he knows that mukku is going through trauma and emotional breakdown,she needs anuj more than anyone else,why did he leave her? anupama was alone because it was her fate,she didnt leave her family for anuj at that time in fact she didnt even know about him. itna bi blind nahi hona chahiyae anu kaey pyaar mein.i would have been mpre happy,if anu left anuj for his good.for mukku money was never important.she was possessive about her brother.even if i was in her place,i would have got pissed off if my brother choose another woman over me knowing my health conditions.
