Why is Anuj the CARETAKER?

I seriously don’t understand why Anuj thinks the whole empire is rightly Mukku’s and his duty is only to safeguard her property until she rightfully claims it.

I get it, Anuj was adopted while Malvika is the biological child of Kapadias. But wasn’t he LEGALLY ADOPTED for god sake? His parents never differentiated between him and Mukku, they were his parents, not foster parents… so on what grounds does the empire belong only to Malvika?

I hate that the makers keep reiterating the fact everything should’ve belonged to Mukku… adopted kids have as much rights as biological ones, but everyone including Anuj, Anupama, vanraj, toshu all think Malvika is the legal heir…

Ridiculous!! Sorry for the rant but I hate how they keep playing the orphan card for anuj…

You are right. How can Anuj be a caretaker. Legally adopted children has the same right on their adoptive parents' property as their biological counterparts. ITV can show anything.

Yeah, especially the “Anaath” jibe from vanraj infuriated me to no end. This coming from a man whose entire family had abandoned him in support of his ex wife!!

IT's what Anuj feels not that his parent had made him a caretaker more than Malvika he needs to go to a therapist. it looks like he never accepted his parent's love as such for him it might be a favour

That’s sooo true.. it appears as if he never fully accepted his family as his just because he knew he was adopted. He’s giving away his years of blood, sweat and hard work to Malvika who is currently vanraj’s puppet JUST BECAUSE he thinks she is the legal heir.

Writers have done a great disservice to Anuj’s character by portraying him as an orphan who owes mukku and her parents for taking him in! But the truth is that he is as much a Kapadia as Malvika is…

Totally agree....

Remember Mukku words from Xmas, his parents always treated him as Krishna with two mother's..

Makers are using it to butcher his character and they are showing that probably after his parents accident he started feeling that way..most importantly, siblings never talked about it.. they keep secrets to kill the character.. otherwise the Anuj shown in beginning was different..

I mean becoming successful despite 26 years unrequited love was really something..Anuj today is not the shown last year...but what can we do.
