Okay, so I am a silent reader on this forum and a die-hard Anuj (GK) fan. Like a lot of you, I have started following the show after Anuj's entry and I am highly pissed with the current track. But, the dashing Anuj's re-entry in today's episode had me going bonkers and this story cropped up in my mind. It will be in 3 parts. It will have Anuj taking revenge. I don't know how the makers intend to wrap up this shitty track, but I soooo wish to see a savage Anuj getting back at Vanraj and shutting him up.

PART 1
“Beware the fury of a patient man.” - John Dryden
Standing in his balcony, he gazed at the dimly-lit sky and his mind sought some respite from the agony. Although the night looked calm and serene, a storm was raging inside him and threatened to consume him. To say he was enraged would have been an understatement. He wanted to do something, to kill that shameless vulture to be more precise. But, he was smarter than that!! Vanraj Shah had dared eye his sister!! Damn that bloody monster. He had rubbed up THE ANUJ KAPADIA the wrong way and he WILL pay for it.
He didn’t know what bothered him more, the fact that his sister had started liking Vanraj Shah or the fact that Anupama was planning to keep him in the dark about it, had he not overheard them. Anupama; his Anupama was planning to hide things from him and that too, about his own sister. The two women, whom he loved more that his life, were right now the reason for his angst. He knew that he had no right over Anupama to question her decision, yet he had always believed that she would never be dishonest with him, that their relationship was transparent. He had never hoped for anything when it came to her, he had never expected anything from her, nothing except honesty. He was not angry at her, his god knew he can never be angry at her, yet he was hurt, deeply hurt. Although she had never said it out loud, he was not blind to not notice the change in her. The way her cheeks would color up by a mere accidental brush of their hands, the way her eyes would light up on seeing him, the way she started feeling nervous when he casually complimented her, nothing had gone unnoticed. And yet he had firmly refused to hope for anything more. As he had told Devika, the heart was at peace till there was no hope!! He was happy with these sweet nothings they exchanged. But the only thing, he had dared to expect from her was being honest and transparent with him. Alas, life had once again proved how his hopes were meant to be shattered and crushed.

Anupama never felt so miserable in her life. The woman, known for always taking the right decision, was feeling lost today. Anuj was upset… Anuj was upset with her and rightly so… The thought made her feel sick. The guy who had literally worshipped her, who had always given her happiness and peace, was in tears and she was partly responsible for it. Yes, she had erred this time. The Anupama, who never does anything wrong, was at fault this time, she realized. Despite having good intentions behind her actions; keeping him in the dark about his own sister was wrong. A quiet sob escaped her lips as she remembered him walking away from her, furious like she had never seen him before. Her heart literally shattered into a million pieces as she remembered his words. His anger, his hurt had scared her then and it still did. She had never seen this side of the always gentlemanly Anuj Kapadia and it sent shivers down her spine. She wasn’t worried about Mr. Shah, that filthy man deserved a lot worse, but she didn’t want a pure soul like Anuj to scar his image and his character for that vile, useless man.
God, she hated herself. She hated herself for being the mute spectator to Anuj’s misery. She would have done anything and everything in her capability to bring his smile back, but Anuj’s cold and distant behavior was killing her. She had sent a silent prayer thanking her Kanhaji when he had returned home safe, however, she felt agonized when he didn’t even look her in the eye and went straight to his room. He had been in his room the whole day after that. She had gone to ask him for dinner, but he had curtly told her that he was busy, and he will have it later.
Her mind was a mess after that. She couldn’t take it anymore. She knew he was mad at her and she had to clear this mess. She recalled how close they had come in the past few days, how endearing he had looked when he had tried to stop her from going to the Shah house, her maayka as he had referred. She recalled how he had gradually started claiming his right over her and how she had started liking it. How his charming smile had started haunting her fantasies, how his husky voice had started giving her butterflies in the stomach.
And now she had ruined all of that with her own stupidity. But not anymore. She decided!! Determined to sort this mess, she got up from her bed.

As she took a tentative step towards his room, to her surprise, she found the door open and peeked inside, only to find it empty. A wave of panic rushed through her as she remembered his words in the morning, ‘Agar ye Anuj Kapadia aaj apne pe aagaya na, to uss Vanraj ko aaj ki raat bhari padegi” Trying to calm her nerves, she stepped inside and heaved a sigh of relief when she caught sight of the familiar silhouette, standing in the dark, leaning against the railing of the balcony, his back facing her.
As she thanked her Kanhaji again for keeping him safe, her eyes involuntarily focused on him. He was still in the same grey suit pants and white shirt, sleeves rolled up gingerly. She enjoyed the enticing play of his muscles as he ran his hands through his already dishevelled hairs and let out a small gasp. This was not the time to get carried away. She needed to focus. Managing the glass in her hand, she walked up to him.
‘Anuj…’ He was so lost in his thoughts that she had to call out again to get his attention.
‘Anuj, have this please…’, her voice broke his chain of thoughts and brought him back to reality. There she was, standing with a glass of what looked like chocolate milk, looking serene as always. He had cautiously maintained distance from her the whole day, lest he says something in his fit of rage and ends up hurting her.
‘Anuj, I know you haven’t had anything since morning, so have this at lease!! Please!!!’ The yearning in her voice tugged at his heart. His love for her threatened to overpower his conscience. Before his face can betray him, he turned around to walk away, but felt her warm hand tugging at his arm as she stopped him.
‘No Anupama, let me go!! I am not feeling hungry!!’ Him addressing her with her full name instead of the usual Anu broke her heart, but she let it slide. She had called for it, she thought as she realized how deeply she had hurt him. Keeping the glass down on the small table near the lampshade, she said, ‘You are angry with me, so punish me, don’t take it out on food. You will fall sick later’ Her voice cracked as she held back the sob which threatened to escape her lips and a lone tear rolled down her eyes.
The change in her tone made Anuj wheel around and face her as he realized she was on the verge of breaking down. And he could bear anything, ANYTHING except seeing his Anu in pain. Can this day get any more unfortunate, he though to herself and abandoning all the common sense, he cupped her face and wiped away the tear.
“Anu, don’t cry!! You know, I can’t see you in pain. It just breaks my heart!! Besides, I am not angry at you, I can never be, you know that!! It’s just that, I felt hurt!!!”
If Anupama was feeling guilty till now, it was nothing compared to what she felt now. God, this man!! Here he was, feeling hurt and agonized because of her and yet, was more concerned about her pain. At that moment, she felt a wave of intense love and affection wash through her. It was impossible to not fall in love with this man!!!
‘I know Anuj, I know. And I hate myself for it. I just hate myself’, enraged with herself, she slapped her forehead, only to find his hand stopping hers as always."
‘Trust me Anuj, I never wanted to hurt you. I just thought that you already had too much on your plate to worry about. Plus, you were already stressed about Mukku, I didn’t want to make things more difficult for you. I just wanted you to be happy, Anuj!! Happy and smiling.”
‘By keeping me in the dark about my own sister?’, although his voice didn’t had an ounce of accusation or mirth, she could feel the hurt in it.
‘I am sorry, Anuj. I genuinely am!! I have realized my mistake. Mukku is your sister, you deserve to know about her first. Before me, in fact!! You are her family”.
‘You are her family too, Anu. I have no qualms in Mukku discussing her problems or her fears with you. I know there are lot of things which a girl doesn’t feel comfortable sharing with her brother!! I know that and I completely understand it!! It’s just that, I expected you to keep me in the loop. Especially, about such a drastic thing!!”
Each and every word Anuj said made Anu feel more miserable, if that was even possible. Such a gem of a person this man was!!! Never the one to lose his patience and his manners, always level-headed and gentlemanly!!! Had this been the situation with Mr Shah, the man would have spit venom at her and threw a few things in his fit of rage. But, this was Anuj Kapadia, the suave and composed!!!Looking at his handsome face shining under the moonlight, she decided it was time to reveal the whole truth about Mr Shah. Damn the consequences!!!
‘I am sorry Anuj!! I know, this is not enough, but right now, apology is the only thing I can offer!! Because, there is something else which you are not aware about!!” Looking at his puzzled face, she told him the truth about her confrontation with Mr Shah at the office and how she was feeling dubious about his intentions.
“I myself was a bit confused about this whole matter, so I decided to discuss it with you once I get a clear picture of what exactly Mr Shah intends to do!!! But, now, we don’t need anymore indications, Anuj!! It’s pretty clear that the man is vile and pathetic and is planning to use Mukku for his selfish intentions and…..!!”,
Before she could complete the sentence, Anuj snarled looking in the thin air, ‘This Anuj Kapadia will never let that happen!!! Not in this lifetime!! Never ever!! I have spared Vanraj Shah, far too many times Anu!!!Now it’s his time to payback!!! And I will make sure he pays back with interest!!!”
Terrified to see the hatred in Anuj’s eyes and half-imagining him with a hockey stick in his hand, Anu quietly asked, ‘What exactly are you planning to do? You are not going to thra….thra…”
“Thrash him???? God, no Anu. Although, the idea is very tempting, be rest assured I am not gonna touch the hockey stick”, Anuj chuckled and Anu felt embarrassed. Had the man learnt to read her mind as well!!! As if messing up with her heart was not enough!!! A peaceful quiet settled over them as the cool night breeze caressed their faces.
“I am sorry Anuj, I genuinely feel sorry for keeping you in the dark. I promise, this will be the first and the last secret that I kept from you!!!" As she held her ears in apology, Anuj felt his heart melting. It was impossible for him to be mad at her. Especially, when she was being so endearingly cute!!! He was certain, he was going to cross some boundaries today.
"Well, regarding your words about the apology being the only thing you can offer, you are wrong there” Looking at the confusion spread over her face, he couldn’t help but fall for her even harder. Throwing caution to the winds, he took a step towards her, and she reflexively took a step back, only to find herself backed against the wall. Closing the distance between them, he caged her by placing his hands on either sides and leaned in… She gulped as his eyes met hers, his face inches away from hers. His action took her by surprise. She had never seen this side of Anuj before. His eyes burned with - Desire? She tried to put a word. However, the words that escaped his mouth seconds later, left her aghast.
‘You can give me much more, Anu!!! A lot of other things to make up with me!!” His sudden proximity was driving her insane. His muscular scent and those dove eyes were making it difficult for her to think straight. God, the effect this man had on her!!! And what was that provocative remark about!!! Was she hallucinating things?? Still, she felt oddly proud of herself as she mumbled, ‘Wha… What? What else can I give?”
He was enjoying this!!! Flirting with her had become his new found hobby and although he had pushed his limits a bit too far this time, he was elated to see the effect he had on her.
‘Bol du?”, his eyes had a hint of mischief and flustered, she just managed to nod.
‘Bol du?”, he repeated being ever so charming and she found her self-control weaning bit by bit….
“Hann”, she managed to whisper!!!
His self control was literally hanging by a loose thread which could snap at any moment. Yet, he didn’t want to do anything that would make her feel uncomfortable. He was not sure if she desired him, although her reaction looked like she did, he didn’t want to assume and rush things. He had been testing the waters, but before he ends up losing himself, he needed to stop. He reluctantly tore away and created some space between them. Looking directly into her eyes, he answered, “Food!!! Food Anu, I am damn hungry!!! And right now, picturing many scrumptious dishes in my head..”, although this was definitely not what he was picturing in his head, he managed to salvage the situation.
Anupama was taken aback by the sudden turn their conversation had taken. She was feeling frustrated, yet relieved. Frustrated because deep down, she didn’t want that moment to end… Relieved because her sweet torment was over. Regaining her composure, she tried to rearrange her face to feign indifference, ‘Of course, I will quickly get something for you”, with that she turned on her heels and disappeared into kitchen.
Eyes fixed on Anu's retreating form, Anuj's mind again went back to the thoughts of Vanraj Shah!!! It was time to swing into action!!!
Well, this is it, for now!!! The next part will have Anuj's revenge plan....
