Riddhi - about Pakhi going US… I don’t think they will sent her to US. Maybe makers want to focus on the issue that nowadays many youngsters feel good education is only possible if u go US or foreign country. India has many good opportunities and colleges when it comes to education just like US. Just by studying in US doesn’t make one competent, it’s ur skill set that makes it.

I have seen this trend in many youngsters nowadays within family n friends - they all wish to study abroad for undergrad itself. If it’s a specialization then it’s still understandable because some areas won’t be available in ur country but after 12th itself.. I don’t think it’s needed… it’s just my personal opinion. No offense to anyone who are wanting to pursue their education in abroad or who had done that.

OR maybe it will add another financial angle too to the Shahs issues. Dispute between Anu n V regarding this issue.

Hey Arya, I definitely feel the same. I wonder how this social commentary track will go 😆

On a slight tangent, I’m born and brought up in the states and even I found the idea that “my best opportunity is to study abroad,” disappointing. It’s the similar to how people within the states demean one university over the other. State uni versus private, ivy versus not, etc. Knowledge is power … doesn’t matter where you go.

Also, fun fact … last checked, out of 71 countries surveyed, the US ranks 38th maths & 24th in Science 😂🤭

Yeah totally agree, even here in US I have seen kids planning to go abroad for studying. Knowledge is power and even the basic college would work wonders if u r bright and ready to work hard.
