DV Katham, Drama Katham, Party shuru, Naya Kaand incoming😂😂

Gm sweeties, yesterday we had a super frustrating and a draining day! A lot of fans who are super invested in the show were upset and rightfully so! Now that we had a night to process this and its a new day, lets may be try a new perspective. Ab we know V is a part of this episode. As Anuj says 'Ab hai to hai'. We had enough time to process this so no point in discussing or pondering over it! Do I still like V being a witness to her story and pain? Absolutely not! But lets try and observe what else the epi had to offer and genuinely understand why makers felt it was a sane idea to weave V into the story!! 🙂🙂

Episode begins with the Chandaniyan lohri song and it immediately took me back to the time when Anu sees V and K together, has a breakdown and Anu's mom and pakhi sing this to calm her down!! 😒😒. Mukku manages to find that momentary peace and safety on Anu's lap as she is cradled to sleep😌

Anuj and V sitting on the couch with V's hand on Anuj's shoulders trying to console him. I was literally screaming 'abbey haath hata, haath hata langoor'!!🤨🤨 Anu joins them and brings up some valid discussions on Mental health. Finally the idea of seeking medical professional help is addressed. Is it enough to actually make an impact? Dont think so! But we also have to understand that this is a show with an entertainment format. Just two episodes on this topic has been draining for viewers too so I will say they did their best to pack in everything possible.

As Anu talks about how words, thought and actions can leave deep and painful wounds in the heart, V gets a flashback on how he treated Anu.It was not a major realization moment where he has regret on his face but more of a 'I understand what she must have gone through' face. Anuj chimes in about what we can do as a collective to stop this inhuman treatment. Anu's anger and powerlessness mirrors a lot of us with a question we ask ourselves everytime we read a crime on woman, 'how long will this go on'? V responds saying 'Jab tak mard nahi badalthe'. now lets take a step back and try to understand why this dialogue was given to V and not Anuj.. I feel somehow makers felt its better to come from someone who has commited this mistake to show remorse and it may make viewers to think agar yeh badhal saktha hai to hum kyun nahi..this is just a thought!! if this had come from Anuj, it would have no impact as he is already the perfect man but an egoistic and chauvanistic man who has undermined women his entire life is making a statement on change may actually make people think? even if this was the reason, the screenplay, dialogues and Sudanshu's acting was not convincing enough to make an impact! 🧐🤷‍♀️

Anu wishes the shahs and the sweet children they are Samar, pakhi, Toshu and Kinjal are glad Anu is fine. Pakhi was understanding today and may be we judged her too soon! 🙃

K leaves the house for few days supposedly to introspect and in search of some inner peace. We can sense V shows he is glad on the surface but disturbed with her absence. Now will he realize he still loves her and she comes back with a bigger revenge plan? 😂😂no idea!! lets see!

Mukku is awake and recollects the previous night and instantly regrets it. Anu barges in and drags her to the party!💃

Precap- phir se dance shuru😂to cheer Mukku and shahs and kapadias enjoy their picnic. just when you think finally some breathing space, Anuj insists on accompanying V for a meeting at work and V doesnt like it.Anu is worried whether this can lead to another problem. we all know of course it will. New kaand incoming!!😈🤦‍♀️

Verdict- try and watch this epi without any prejudice and you may find it tolerable.I still stand by my opinion that V's involvement in this track was unnecessary. the screenplay and writing of last 2 epis was very weak leaving loopholes in the plot but lets not take away from the message that needed to be conveyed to the collective. Examples from Dr emoto's water experiment were quoted but could have been explained better. My issue is with a weak flow in story. after such a terrible breakdown, no one parties the next day! infact you make no social contact but this is not a medical show and pointing out every single flaw is unfair on makers too!! I feel they will now speed up V 's kaand track after yesterday's fury and we might after all see what was his motive behind all this. Another final request to makers: pls decide what you want to do with V; is he grey who is interested in becoming bada admi but a changed man otherwise or the entire thing is a facade awaiting to unveil a full blow villian. pls pick one and STICK to it!! yeh ringa ringa roses mat kelo humare saath! thak gaye hai hum!🥴🥴😭😭

I dont like seeing V, Anu & Anuj in the same frame, makes me cringe😕

It is super odd to see them all party/dance after an eventful day/night. This has been shown earlier too during the loan/financial crisis track. Anu is begging, wandering on streets in the wee hours of the night. But next day everyone is happily singing bhajans

Sunny - First of all 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😘😘 for the update . U r a rockstar dear… I absolutely didn’t have patience to see the whole episode and rather skipped thru it. But your update gives a better perspective.

I agree that involvement of V in this track is unnecessary. Even if the makers wanted to sent the message thru abuser that he is willing to change .. then too it seemed a weak moment of realization n message wasn’t conveyed strong enough IMO.



I hope they at least show some follow up talks or doctor visit regarding Mukku’s treatment. It is not that you cry and vent out one night phir party ke baad all hunky dory… things don’t work out like that.. itna toh I expect makers or am I asking more🤨

The inclusion of V was a good idea in a way but makers didn't execute it well. If they are so hell bent of showing him as bada aadmi having no ill itentions about anyone just focusing on his career then also his realization for his past mistakes is necessary.

As you said that in today's episode there was a moment when he has a flashback of how he treated anu but that was just not enough. We didn't feel any remorse, any self realization kind of thing.

Makers are obsessed with giving anuraj friendship scenes but when there was a need of one they didn't give it. Here they had perfect opportunity to give it. Like V witness the whole scene of mukku's breakdown, he also was a part of discussion about mental health, he had flashback of his toxic behavior with anu. He would have offered to take anu to shah house to meet family or something like that where they would have been alone and he would have genuinely apologize for his mistakes. I wouldn't have mind if he would have cry also in front of anu....that would have served the real purpose to include him in this track otherwise it makes no sense.

I had a flicker of hope when V recollected those past moments. I still cannot pin point on the exact reason why V was brought into the picture. It does get not so bad if watched with no premonition.

I'll stand by what I said yesterday. They should'nt have delved into this topic if they weren't serious of continuing it or it making a subconscious impact on V. You said it right, neither V's dialogues nor SP's acting chops added any weightage to the scenario.
