MaAn Drabble/OS: Unnamed *coz I couldn't get what it should be*

Hello forum waasis! Myself Aaliya an oldie who forgot IF after joining Instagram but again landed because she suddenly saw a good nightmare😆

Jokes apart! I guess I should've started with my introduction in the respective thread but couldn't find the link, so would be grateful if some body shares!😃

Coming to this one shot don't throw chappals and rotten eggs, tomatoes are okay! ☺️

One shot:

"but Anuj yaar, you love her! Tu aise kaise sab kuch chodhkar London shift ho sakta hai? No you can't do this!" said Devika taking a sip of her coffee.

"Tu samjh nahi rahi hai Devika! Mukku ki haalat din par din kharab hoti Jaa Rahi hai. Dekha nahi tune kaise Mr. Shah ke saath kaam karne ke liye ready hogayi woh. Ghar se bina bataye bhaag gayi. Ab isse pehle uski tabiyat aur bigde main ne decide karliya hai main London shift ho raha kuch dino ke liye. Atleast tab tak jab tak Mukku yahan hai." explained Anuj. His heart bleeded to be with his beloved sister but the burden of his sister's mentally challenged state always forced him to stay away from her.

" Toh apko lagta hai ke London chale jaane se Mukku bilkul thik hojayegi?" interrupted Anupama. She had been eardroping the conversation of the duo and was greatly annoyed by Anuj's move.

"Anu....tum...tum..yahan?" stammered Anuj. He was not expecting Anupama, hear their conversation. He thought it was more good for Anupama to stay away from his family troubles as she already had enough troubles from her own family.

"Nai, bataiye ne? Agar chor pakad me nahi araha he toh police apni naukari hi chodh de taaki chor apne aap uske paas ajaye? Anuj ap bacchon jaisi baatein kyun karte hai? Apka Mukku se dur jaane se uski tabiyat par koi jadu nahi karega jo woh thik hojayegi. Kuch dard aise hote hai jinhe dooriyan nahi pyaar ki zarurat hoti hai."

"Exactly! Dekhna Anu yeh tabse bakwas kare Jaa Raha hai. Dekh Anuj teri behen ki business ke chalte apne business ko daw par mat laga. Business fortune par chalta hai...kuch bhi kabhi bhi ho sakta hai. Acha sun ab main chalti hun, Anu tu please isse samjha" said Devika and left.

"Kya soch rahe hai?" asked Anupama softly. She knew behind the glasses there was a fresh line of deep stress.

"Kuch nahi."

"Mujhse toh mat chupaiye" said Anu as she looked at him with a broken smile. That smile was a clear expression of disappointment Anu had for Anuj. He knew she would never let him feel down but he just couldn't speak his troubles to her.

"Dekhiye baat chupai Jaa sakti hai juzzbaat nahi. Apko agar nahi batana hai toh mat bataiye lekin main itna zarur janti hun ke kuch toh aisi baat hai jo apko raat me chain ki needh sone nahi deti. Aap batayein ya na batayein apki ankhon sab kuch saaf saaf kehdeti hai."

"Agar meri ankhein sab kuch saaf saaf kehsakti hai toh phir yeh ankhein pacchis saal pehle kyu dil ka pyaar bayan nahi kar saki?" asked Anuj. But wait! He was not going to ask such an awkward question but it just slipped out. Anupama stood spellbound. She was not expecting this as a reply. And even if this came she had no answer to his question.

"Mera...mera woh matlab nahi tha....."

"Janti hun.."

"Kkk...kya?"

"Yahi ke apka matlab zubaan tak aate hi kyun thak jaata hai aur wapas dil ke kisi kone me chala jaata hai. Khair yeh sab chodhiye. Maine Bapuji ko phone kiya tha unhone kaha ke Mukku thik hai aur Mr. Shah ke saath office gayi Hui hai. Pareshani ki koi baat nahi hai. Aur ap kahi nahi jayenge."

"Anupama. Tumhi batao main kya karun. Mukku jabbhi mujhe dekhti hai mujhe Darr lagta hai ke uske purane zakhm phir se taaze na ho jaye."

"Zakhm ko taaza hone ke liye wajah ki zarurat hai. Aur main jitna janti hun pyaar sirf aur sirf zakhm ko bhar sakta hai. Usse taza nahi kar sakta. Ek bhai ka pyaar apni behen ko sirf khushiyan de sakta hai, dard ki wajah nahi."

"Aur tumhe?!"

"Bina darre aage badhne ka hosla." said Anupama. For a moment it was all silence between them. Anuj had given up on the wrong question he asked but Anupama did not ignore. She straightforwardly replied and her eyes said she did not regret her reply.

"Kya tumhe lagta hai ke hamara yeh rishta age badh sakta hai? I....i am sorry Anu but mujhse raha nahi gaya so puch liya...t...t...tum jao apna paper work complete karlo."

"Anuj...hamare beech ka jo rishta hai woh sirf tab age badhega jab ap apne dard mujhse battna seekh lenge." smiled Anupama and she took a load of files. She went away and did not turn back at an astonished Anuj. Maybe because she knew she wouldn't be able to reply back even to his last question regarding "them".

Nevertheless I tried to write something on after a very long time and on an elderly couple so am sorry if this sounds a way too chessier for the couple but my mind could imagine this..🤓

As said from the start rotten tomatoes are welcomed but spare this poor human by not throwing sandals and rotten eggs!😆🤣

Very well written in sync with the characters… I throughly enjoyed reading it. Anuj dating to ask direct questions and Anupama giving him even stronger hints of where the future could lie for them………Together

I like this sassy Anu😆. Sometimes intelligent people like Anuj, think they have all the answers. Nice wake up call 👏
