Hi everyone!
I am Bidzie. I am a silent member of this forum. I used to be a hard-core TV buff and an active IF user 6-7 years ago. Then, university and work life got me busy, and no other TV show affect me anymore... until I started watching MaAn recently. I've been watching Anupama since the birth of Anupama 2.0, but with Anuj entering the show and Gaurav's awesome portrayal of this heartwarming character, I am affected to the one that I came back to IF. I also used to write OSs back then, so I attempted something today as well.
This is a two-shots story, focusing on my imagination of who Malvika is, how Anu will confess, and how Anuj will react. Hope you all like it. I am nervous. Please pardon me for errors or confusions, as it's been long since I've written fictions on TV characters. Enjoy :D

MaAn Two Shots: Hopes Fulfilled and New Beginnings
“Malvika, meet Anupamaa, meri dost aur business partner,” Anuj introduces Anupamaa to Malvika, his sister. He then looks at Anupamaa and introduced Malvika, “Anu, yeh hai Malvika. Meri behen.” All three of them are standing in Anuj’s bedroom at his apartment.
“Jai Shree Krishn,” Anupamaa smiles and folds hands.
Malvika curiously stares at Anupamaa. She asks Anuj, “Kya yeh wahi hai jisse tum …?”
Anuj nods. Anupamaa feels self-conscious, as she is meeting Anuj’s family member for the first time, who knows about Anuj’s feelings for her. She awkwardly smiles, not knowing how to respond to the situation.
Malvika observes Anupamaa’s attire, raises her eyebrows, and annoyingly exclaims, “I can’t believe Anuj ke tum iss aunty ki vajah se puri zindagi akele guzaar di. Iski vajah se tumne mujhe aur mom dad ki baat nahi maani, yeh toh tumse pyaar bhi nahi karti---”
“Quiet!” Anuj firmly says to Malvika, pointing a finger at her. He is shocked and embarrassed, as he cannot hear anyone saying anything hurtful to Anupamaa. He is the most bothered to recognize that his own sister can never understand his feelings for Anupamaa.
Anupamaa is guilty and disheartened. Her eyes tear up, thinking what Anuj must have gone through because of her. Anuj looks at Anupamaa and murmurs, “Sorry!” Anupamaa faintly smiles at Anuj to assure him that she is okay.
Next, Anuj looks at Malvika, who rolls her eyes at Anupamaa. He tells her sternly, “I think tumhe pata honi chahiye ki kaunsi baat tumhe nahi kehni chahiye. Anupamaa meri dost hai, aur main uske khilaaf ek lafz bhi nahi sununga. Not a single word against her!”
“Aur iske liye apne parivar ko bhul sakte ho? Tum jo iske liye itna kuch karte ho aur feel karte ho. What did she do for you? Nothing at all.” Malvika bluntly says, making Anuj angry. He blurts, “Bas! Itne time baad mili ho. Acche se raho.”
Anupamaa does not have words to express her feelings that she loves Anuj and does not want him to suffer ever. She begins to leave, but Anuj stops her, “Ruko Anu!” Anupamaa does not move from her position. She looks at Anuj, holds his arm, and shakes her head, asking him to calm down and not fight.
GK is in the kitchen, and on hearing Anuj and Malvika’s argument, he goes to Anuj’s bedroom. “Kya hua? Itna shor kyun?”
“Isse puchiye na GK! 10 saal ho chuke hai phir bhi tameez nahi sikhi.” Anuj points out at Malvika in disbelief.
Malvika laughs mockingly. “Wow! Aur itne saal baad bhi tum iss Anupamaa ke liye pagal ho. Itne ki apni behen ko bhul---”
“Bas karo, Malvika!” Anupamaa speaks up. “Badhe bhai se aise baat karte hai kya? Arre Anuj toh kitne acche hai, sabka kitna sochte hai. Mere parivaar ke saath yeh humesha khadhe rahe. Agar yeh gairo ke liye itna sochte hai toh socho apni behen ke liye kitna sochte honge. Meri vajah se tum apne bhai se ladhaai mat karo.”
Anuj gazes Anupamaa in awe and smiles admirably to see Anupamaa appreciating him.
“Aur tum hoti kaun ho mujhe yeh bhashan dene wali? Who the hell are you?” Malvika questions Anupama in a high-pitched tone.
Anuj glares at Malvika. He is trying hard not to lose his temper with her because she is his sister after all. Trying to stay composed, he says, “I am warning you, Malvika---”
Anupamaa interrupts, “Main woh hu jo tumhare bhai se pyaar karti hai.” She emotionally expresses, looking at Malvika.
Anuj stares at Anupamaa, shocked and confused. His eyes are welled up. “Kya kaha tumne?”
Anupamaa looks in his eyes. Tears roll down her eyes, and she smiles with all the love and respect she has for Anuj that is reflecting in her eyes. “I love you, Anuj!”
Anuj is overwhelmed. Tears roll down his eyes. He sighs in relief and a smile of contentment graces his face.
