Here my girls, I have dug up my old post.

With the current update of prequel, it seems more clear. Initially they wanted to establish the story so made V out and out brutal. Now with AK overshadowing V, makers can’t tolerate it hence in efforts to rebuild V’s image they are bringing prequel.

Okay..on serious note...if it's web series than what's the point..I mean online viewers hate him and won't even see...it's the gullible TRP viewers who might have fallen in the trap but wo to target hai hi nahi..

To itna effort kyu... Aur chalo DKP to samjh aata hai but why is hotstar even supporting this..

They may be trying to do this only. But kya h na we are irked for watching Anu with vanraj in any scenario now.

Maybe to appease their friend. We don’t know what their equations are… maybe deep bonding which makes it difficult to separate personal n professional life.

Just found out about a prequel for V. This is so disgusting. Wasn't this story personal to RS? How can someone's ego affect it so much that you need to put out a prequel to justify a character that everybody hates. I was still ok up till now but this is just taking it too far.

It’s pathetic and things are going down the drain further. But they won’t get impacted as it’s a webseries to TRP mein there won’t be much change

i hope everyone just ignores it. It doesn't even deserve negative attention.

Good point Arya....This could be a possibility why they are making a prequel because I was unable to justify their reasoning to put so much effort in a seperate series when they have a full fledged show going.

we now have another reason to totally boycott the series in addition to the hate to Vanraj's character.

You never know they may plan to air it on TV depending upon its success as web series to trap the TRP audience as well.

No number of episodes will change his image as there is nothing that can justify emf, manipulating dv survivor and countless other kukarm this character has done.

I said this in another thread too that any publicity is good publicity. So best way is to boycott and ignore. Good for our health as well as to discourage the makers.

True that his deeds can’t be justified with any prequel. But there could be many reasons for this prequel:

1. Appease SP as he is a friend of RS with a show for him

2. Garner sympathy for online audience who are against V not matter what the makers try. If successful, then they can bring back V in show and glorify him.

3. Also there can be a subplots for Anuj (my prediction) to show his ways in US. That could degrade his value in the eyes of online audience.

Many agendas can be there. Ek teer se bahut nishaane that’s what they could be doing. So best is avoid the whole thing.

True, No idea what's going on in makers mind.

I plan to fully boycott the series.

Bore hoke Mar hi kyo na jaaoo par series nahi dekhungi. No way 😡
