Thanks for the tag Sunshine!!!
I totally agree with you...even I felt bad for Kavya. How come Vanraj gets to take these one sided decisions on both his marriages and women are left to simply deal with the damage caused!?
What Kavya did was wrong, but when u think about it....In out society, most houses are in the names of the Husband and the in-laws, very rarely with the Wife. I've seen cases where, In slightest of issues husbands say 'Mere ghar se nikal jao'. They may not have meant it, they might apologize later..but that's the insecurity they create. A lot of women end up using their salaries for the family expenses or give up careers for the family and never quite make enough money to buy houses on their own name. They quite often rely on the husband's house. What Kavya did was an act of getting that security and upper hand so that no one can ask her to leave. Wrong.. definitely...but not something that cannot be discussed and resolved considering that she returned the house in a couple of day's time. Also because she doesn't have any other family to fall back on. She even gave her house to Anirudh for V.
Technically Baa tried to take all the property in her name (Kavya changed it, but the plan was to have it all in Baa's name) Wasn't that for security too?
I remember in some old episode, V was removed from the house ka share....he puts extreme pressure on Anupama and Baapuji to give him his share. That's exactly what Kavya did too.
I'm not sure if the makers want us to sympathise with Kavya or with V because both are right in their respective roles....Kavya by nature is cunning and V by nature is egoistic..
I feel this track might fall flat and V won't divorce Kavya... she'll probably find a way to make him stay.
Sorry for the long rant...I really felt bad for Kavya that's y
