Vanar, on arrival at S(w)aha house, will huff and puff, frown, raise his eyebrows, wrinkle his nose, pucker his lips and shout in the highest decibel possible, curse Anuj and abuse Anupama..

But it is Anuj who has been handed over each of Anupama's dard and sardard on a platter. He has even implicitly adopted each of Anupama's relations. So yeah...

Horrible as he was, I will admit to the fact that Vanraj has managed this house with an iron fist.

Anupamaa can give all the lectures she wants that the house needs her and she is the backbone of the house, when infact its Vanraj. He has done horrible things and is still respected. Think of it, if he had been nice to Anupamaa, neither Leela nor Paritosh would have had the chance to say anything to her.

Anupamaa has this inherent mental need to be needed all the time which is why people cry once in front of her and she comes running back to get used, but the truth is that the house will keep running normally without her which the selfish Shahs have proven time and again.

Vanraj decided some things for himself and he is still in the house, but Anupamaa has been ousted.

As much as mother's love and protection is needed for children, father's discipline and strictness is also needed.

If only Vanraj was loyal and understanding person and not trashraj that he turned out to be, vanraj and anupama would have been perfectly balanced couple and great parents. One is soft, emotional amd other is hard, practical.
