I’m still reeling with tons of emotions and cannot get over how beautiful the entire episode was today♥️

With symbolism in everything they said, their conversation was so rewarding...to us and to themselves😍

How they met halfway to see each other signifying them meeting each other halfway between friendship and love♥️

The outdoor setting of the scene was symbolic too I felt, to show that everything that was hidden is now out in the open...

The subah subah mention indicating the subah of their new lives together.

I eventhought the fence in the background in the few initial scenes was symbolic of how their relationship was on the fence all this while then they moved to a place where there was no fence, to say they had crossed over to a definite something by now.

How he said haan, haan...haan a few times when she asked chabbis saalo se? it was almost like he was amazed and trying to convince himself of how it had only been 26 years when he thought he had loved her a lifetime..

How he apologised for letting out the secret he’d been cherishing for this long and how he never wanted to let anyone know, let alone her. what kind of mad love is this Anuj? Anu’s face at that choked me up. She didn't know if any of her words would do justice to acknowledge what she felt for his unconditional devotion, it was certainly not just love.

To be able to hold onto a one sided emotion for that many years without expecting anything in return, this kind of devout fidelity deserved her recognition and she gave him the air to breathe...

How strongly he believed in his pure love, for her... pyaar jatana galat ho sakta hai par mera pyar galat nahi hai, tumse pyar karna galat nahi hai...

Ye shayari ki baatein nahi, ye shayar ki baatein hai

and how effortlessly Anuj made her a shayar when she said

‘ye pyaar se door aur dosti se aage ka pyar’ this is all he wanted, ever.

The way they held onto each other for the longest while represented how forever long they will hold on to each other’s lives and never let go...

The flower shower was the confetti to celebrate their unnamed relationship where there were no limits neither were there any restrictions...

the softness of the flowers denoted the soft undertone of their bond, their sweet fragrance was how sweet and fragrant this relationship is going to be...

They embraced a new beginning on diwali that signifies shubh laabh, to reap the blessed rewards of their invested emotions...

And yes everything about today was perfect. The conversation, their expressions, the setting, the silences and the music. I don't watch anything else on ITV as such so this was incredibly refreshing to see and watch and feel. So much symbolism and hidden clues to their future. I'm no longer mad at the writers, they've redeemed themselves for me 😆

Also it was a wonderful way to make sure the audience knew just the extent of Anuj's love and devotion. We all have been aware of that but putting it all together and seeing it on screen kinda took my breath away because it's like realizing all over again how much he loves her

It’s such a beautiful episode. Both Anu and Anuj respecting and uplifting each other.

The foundation of a successful relationship are all there:

❤️Friendship

❤️Honesty

❤️Communication - transparency

❤️No fear of getting hurt - knowing that the person you are with will hurt more if they hurt you.

❤️Understanding.

Now the makers should concentrate on Anu realising and waking up to the stark contrast that is Vanraj and Anuj.
She needs to start noticing what a true life partner means. How she (and all women)should have always been treated by their other halves. That it’s not just about giving only but also about taking. Taking refuge in the other persons strength and positivity. Knowing you can put your point forward without being scared of retribution. About being yourself unapologetically.

This will be the bases of Anu falling for Anuj. Realising that the love she had for Vanraj was not just one sided but also fearful. Aka a bit like Stockholm syndrome.
