In this speech too... she goes on to tell baa " aap mujhe kuch bhi kahiye, mein seh loongi ..." why is that needed?

I cannot disagree that she is the one who needs redeeming, she is the one who has the crooked soch that needs to be eradicated from its root!

Sorry for posting again on this topic, I had not seen the YT video earlier.!

perfectly said Smitha

Anu does generalize the entire womankind, she did that previously when she went on about motherhood...

check what vivacious said above...someone needs to shake Anu out of her santgiri...just when I start liking her occasionally sensible bhashans she goes and gives me a reason to get hate them again.

In the attempt to bring out her inspirational side the writers get carried away and kill the vibe with hypocrisy.

When Anu is dishing out lectures to others and giving everyone a earful... I was looking at Anuj's expressions 😊

He would be kicking himself for falling for this crazy woman! She might have swept his feet many years ago.... but he doesnt know that Anupama is missing some screws from head now😕

I agree, she is both. Even standing for Anuj came after all the things Devika said. If devika had not put any sense to her , all she would do is next day say sorry and continue being doormat. Even when Devika was talking truth she said not against baa. Like really ? What has baa done for u?

You are absolutely right when she said to neighbor that she not worth being saas, well so ur saas does the same or is 10 steps worse. As for her Baa is demigod then for neighbors bahu also their saas is demigod.

My problem with her is she gives big lectures but doesn't stand on her words. Again tomm morning she will wake 5 am and cook for all over grown ppl and do household chores. Lecture do and next day fir life back to normal and get ready for new tamasha.

Kher I am happy atleast she accepted baa did wrong and stood up for Anuj. Qs hai aage kya karegi. I am hoping baa nikal de ghar se. But aise free aki naukar kahan milegi.

wahi toh...

Aaj bhashan diya , kal se wahi ghar mein chaakri kiya...its a neverending vicious cycle for Anu

I know we can’t expect her to change overnight and start rejecting Baa’s orders and I also know that it must have taken a lot of courage and strength to speak against her bhagwan but yaar itni himmat juta li hai to uss par tiki reh, back to square one kyu karti hai everytime?

Hipe she proves me wrong and surprises us this time honestly, I dont want to dislike her.

I loved everything she said to defend Anuj but I would have loved it a 100 times more if she had not turned on her words and preached crap later.

Her standing up to baa for anuj so publicly and calling out society's gender hypocrisy around friendship was a big step in the right direction both for her friendship with anuj and for her own self-respect, but l wholeheartedly agree with your statement about anupama not practising what she preaches when it came to her firing back at that random kaki for being unworthy of being a mother-in-law, as I too when watching that part did think that she herself has had such an awful mother-in-law who she not only put up with before her divorce, but even now puts that awful mother-in-law on a pedestal even when she's no longer anu's mother-in-law. Has anu ever called out baa for being a horrid mother-in-law? She needs to, and she also needs to call out baa for still acting like her mother-in-law when she isn't her daughter-in-law anymore.

What goes in this show can't be desiphered by the best Psychiatrist in the world, here most of us don't even have 1% of that knowledge.

If Anu can see problems with other MILs then she have to have already known her ex-MIL is the head master of ill-treatment here.

Truelly saying no character in here have a steady character growth or stand-point in there character graph. They fluctuate up and down like a ping pong ball as per the requirement of TRPs.

Sometimes Anupama says mai uss ghar me nahi aungi, sometimes she lives there.

Sometimes Pankhi says mummy you are best, sometimes she is ruining everything.

Sometimes Bapuji can shut everyone up but sometimes he can't even object.

Sometimes Vanraj knows what he did was wrong sometimes he don't.

Sometimes Rakhi respects Baa and is her best buddy sonetimes she is not.

So, not have an iota of idea what is going in in their heads. Only Mr. Shahi knows.

Actually maine woh segment dekha to mujhe laga that anupama is actually telling off baa indirectly that she served her similarly for so many years so she has lost the right of being a saas, same with hypocrisy with regards to kavya attending shah family functions. I think anupama addressed 'mohalle wale' but actually it was all pinching baa too. But jo bhi kaho bohot mazaa aaya, shayad trp aunties ko isliye aise drame wale segments pasand hain

How about combination of both leading to a Shah Cult who worships Baa.

Baa has a god complex and Anu caters to that with all her heart, mind and body. All Shah are nothing but a questionable cult who practices and normalize immoral thoughts.

I agree, if makers thought that Anu looked hero today - a big NO! I could relate with Devika's outbrust - that is the intensity of anger you need when someone dear to you is wrongly humiliated publicly.

Anu's lecture counts for nothing as next morning she will be serving breakfast, along with apologies. Most annoying would be her desperate attempts to get Baa's attention. It's all going back to square one anyway- blaming all on Baa's badi soch! They will simply move on from this public humiliation like they did with the project's puja.

Only thing consistent these days is - amout of disappointment this show delivers without fail.

On one hand she can't hear a word against Baa, who has nothing but belittled her actions and her entire being if I'm honest...how can Anupama be so delusional and not see what Baa is doing to her?...her undying love and respect for Baa is just baffling...why does Anupama think she owes Baa anything when all Baa has done is taunt, curse and trash her all her life when she was the bahu and now when she isn't.

Anu's latest bhashan on how a saas should treat her bahu is so hypocritical to say the least. She gives gyaan to the neighbour kaaki on how not to treat her bahu while she stands there being treated the same?

What do the makers want us to think? think they can get away with dishing out rubbish in the name of gender equality? Anu says she's been questioned because she's a woman while Vanraj got away with everything cause he is a man...and we're supposed to applaud her for her speech? hell no!

I like Anupama as a person but her beliefs cheese me off...I really thought I would enjoy her sticking up for Anuj but the reasons she did have left a bad taste...Anu you've disappointed me!

If anyone needs redeeming now, its Anupama...sorry if I've burst the bubble

See this is the effect of regressive environment she is been in for 25 years. No matter what 25yrs of effect will not go in one day. When she married in Shah house slowly and gradually baa and Vanraj started dictating her life but by 1 or 2 yes she would have completely lost herself. But the good thing is she knows right from wrong. And you have to word your self properly to protect yourself even then narcissistic like baa and vanraj will take you wrong and humiliate you. She must have tried talking to her mother few times but her mother must have said that she is elder she is right. And she had no devika or financial power to support or fight for her right. And children's except Samar all support, Vanraj how will she take a proper stand.
