I cannot understand Anuj

Hi everyone,

Before I start and looking at the title you all start to bash me, let me make it clear that I just started watching this show, Anupama bz previously I can't stand Vanraj. With Anuj entry, I am actually liking it.

So let me start now.

Yes I am saying this that I cannot understand Anuj in today's episode when he mentioned that " Agar 26 saal pahle pyar ka izhaar galat tha to 26 saal baad bhi galat hai".

I understand that he can see that Anu is all surrounded by her family and here with family I mean kids and is living with in laws sorry ex in laws which she respect. So she only think of them only. According to recent episode Mummy told him na that what all Anu faced in her life. Then he mentioned somewhere that he is happy seeing Anu happy.

Anuj rightly thinks that Anu needs wings to fly and be independent so that she can gain respect first in her own eyes. But dear lover Man, Anuj, a woman needs wings to fly and accomplish her dreams which gives her happiness but when she returns to her nest and found it empty, she will be sad. I am not saying that a woman needs someone by her side to make her happy, NO. But she needs someone to atleast listen to her, to respect her which I don't think so Anu ever got in her life except from sumar. Anu don't even need support but she she needs respect and someone to listen to her heart, who don't humiliate her every time. Anuj can do all the above.

But but I don't think he is ready to do it now also. He wants to give her wings but is not ready to listen to her heart. He from the day one kept this assumption that it will be wrong if he puts his heart out in front of Anu. I somewhere thinks that he is still a college boy inside who is scared of rejection. I understand this.

But again Anu and Anuj are two very mature people. I am not saying that I want to see them together overnight as if some miracle happened. Bz I know how Anu is.

I am atleast happy that Anuj and Anu both have someone to put some brain in them. I am talking here for Mummy and Vedika ( I hope this is her friend's name). Having your friend as life partner is best we can get in life. But inko kaun samajhaye. Let's hope for the best.

I agree with some of ur above said points. Anuj is trying his best hard to not let anupama face any problem bcoz of him and his love.

But as u said these 2 do not understand that their love for each other in the future won't be a problem instead wld be a blessing and wld bring happiness into their lives. Coz they both deserve each other❤🤞🤞

As u said GK kaka and devika (anu's friend) r the only cupids who can knock sense into them 😅🤞🤞

Anupama is steeped in tradition and it is too soon for her to think of moving on. Anuj understands this nature of hers. He is in love with her and has been so for over 25 ears he cannot make a PDA like some. it is subtle and suggestive. Especially since Anupama is dense and cant understand things easily it is getting tough. When he sees she needs help he doesn't mind stepping in to open the laptop or speak up for her.

He will not manipulate others like the shahs or bad mouth anyone. There are noble souls like him. I've seen some act that way. Empowerment and support can take different forms and come in different ways.

Yes, Anuj is trying his best so that she will not face any issues bz of him. But then I believe there will be still time when he will have to say his heart.

Also, I don't think that he is that kind of typical person who believe that a lady in 40s cannot get married again. But as I said this will be a long way to go and think marriage is on cards for them. But yes I still hope them to get married.

I to be honest felt that his dialogue about "agar 26 saal pehle pyaar ka izhaar na krna galat tha toh 26 saal baad pyaar ka izhaar krna bhi galat hai" to be so so so so heart touching.

If he had confessed his feelings before she got married into the toxic and abusive family that the shahs are, unlearning everything she had learnt from her mother before the marriage would have been easy for her. She could have gained independence and freedom much earlier in life and he could have given her the free sky to fly off towards.

But the situations are different between then and now.

She needs to learn to love and respect herself first now before she can even think about loving someone else.

At this point even if someone forcefully convinces her to get married to anuj nothing will change except maybe the husband and the new in laws.

A little respect and understanding goes a long way in a relationship. But anupama at this moment is not even ready to RECIEVE that respect. Until and unless she is completely at peace with the kind of person she is and starts respecting herself for the individual she is she cannot and will not be able to even recieve respect from someone else. That is a common quotient in every abuse victim

Its soo very mature of anuj that he understands that at this moment what she really needs is an open sky to get used to the feeling of flying again and not a new nest.

A new nest before she has learnt to fly will just be a hurdle in her path and nothing more. A nest no matter how comfortable cannot teach a baby bird to fly. The baby bird HAS to leave the nest first and then form a nest of its own later.

like Hasmuk points to Leela Anupama has to transit from being self less to thinking of her needs and priorities too. She has to completely reinvent herself to thrive despite the Shah's and Rakhee Dave. Anuj has considered her needs and condition and plans to recruit Kavya and Devika to help in the process.

But the situations are different between then and now.

She needs to learn to love and respect herself first now before she can even think about loving someone else.

She will not understand or accept. She needs to first let go of her toxic ties and see they dont wish her well. The meri beti dialogue is only an emotional blackmail. Vanraj is very confident how she can control Anupama which is why he increases the toxicity quotient of P1.

what has mattered to her is what her family thought .Unlike Vanraj who makes it appear to Toshu hat he was worried only because of what Anupamas move would do to his parents and Children Anupama has genuinely put that above her own needs knowing Vanya only too well.

When one loved another unconditionally it is unmindful of their flaws. Such was Anupamas for Vanraj till she caught him red handed. Even thereafter she respected him as the father of her kids. When he sadistically taunted her in the presence of the whole family, she has started to feel repulsed about hi Kavya and their ploys.Not to be left behind BabaYaga pitches in despite Anupama earlier rejecting her patch up plea.

The hatyachar has been both at physical and psycho social level. She is in the tangled mess caused by family and ts finances.

By saving Samar , speaking to him and Nandini Anuj actually plays a role in the smoothening process.

She has to walk away from the shadow the shahs and Rakhee cast on her. Anuj has thought out long term and is ready how to bail her out of the financial mess as well

Something which made sense was surprisingly said by Vanraj today. Something along the lines of jo apne ghosle se bandha ho, woh udd nai sakta. He described Anu and her problem perfectly. She is so obsessed with keeping her family happy, despite the way they treat her, that she would everything to not fly away if that even inconvenienced them. Something Kaka, Anuj and Devika also recognize but don't say out of respect to Anu, though Devika finally did say a lot today and I really hope Anu listens to her and understands where she is stuck and start moving from it.
