Thank you for the tag. There have been several shows with age-gap themed love story, where the man is much older, married to a young girl. This seems to be the reverse of the norm. It will be interesting. Let's see how this pans out.

All I want to see is for Anupama to cut her ties with the Shah family. Enough is enough. Hope they dont butcher Anuj's char.

Anuj looks hot. I think they went with an actor that is good looking but won't overpower the dynamics of the Shah House. He will blend in. I absolutely am glad it's NOT RK or RR. The show would have become the Anuj show

Anu Anuj isn't an age gap love story as I think they are the same age so not sure how they will look against one another. I feel Anu needs to be given a makeover. Her makeup is awful & aging, hairstyle is way too old for her & those sarees...sarees can be beautiful but she looks like a downtrodden maid

The PH need to loosen their purse strings & focus on Anu a bit more. If she is indeed the star of the show make her look like one

Let's hope Devika drops by & gives Anu some style lessons

To match up with this guy’s aura and young looks and on other end anupama looks typical middle aged woman with tired looks so it’s fine if makers are not willing to give her ultra modern looks but bare minimum refreshing looks is much needed.

I don’t mind if they want to go with Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas way and want to keep anupama middle aged loads but Anuj with full of personality and dashing looks.

Personally I like new life with refreshing looks of Anupama in place of this tired looks.

And I am seeing kinjal, Kavya ,nandini these ladies are getting quite refreshing looks now and then and heroin of this show always looks tired / dull so anupama also deserves refreshing looks like her costars.

The unusual pairing has made me even more interested (i mean i always looking forward to seeing Anuj or anyone who will be paired off Anupamaa as long as he is a character who respects, appreciaties and supports her... and anyone who can take down Vanraj in ego and words but do it respectfully too)

Gaurav is interesting choice, and i said before i liked that they have chosen someone who is only 4 or 5 yrs age in difference to Rupali in real life but also has this youngish look and style. As someone said he can blend in with the Shah's (and when they do those dance special occasions dances too, lets hope he can dance well lol) also it makes me more interested in their romance then having someone older actor imo

Anu should also be given a more fresher look than what she presently dons so I'm also in alignment of what the prior members have mentioned about.

I have a question guys. In other versions, was anuj paired opposite against Anupama? I mean does he used to love her before or they just knew each other ?

I am very sorry to say but Gaurav Khanna as Anuj is miscast. When I first heard of Gaurav Khanna, I thought they will give him grey hair. In the Bengali version the actor playing Anuj is also much younger than the actress playing Anupama. So they gave him grey hair. Here Anuj looks like Toshu's friend. I really don't know how will they make Gaurav look like the father of 3 grown up kids.

In the original version Anuj used to love Anupama from college days. He also proposed Anupama but Anupama was very shy and nervous to reciprocate. Later Anupama got married and Anuj left for abroad. Anuj could never get Anupama out of his mind and stayed unmarried all through his life. He built a house on Anipama's name and dreamt to once take her to the house. After he saw Anupama after so many years he decided to give her a better life.
