Change anupama's dressing

Just saw rupali's instagram post ... anupama in saree 🤢..seems like new morning after divorce

In one of the episode anupama had mentioned she likes to wear suits/dresses but vanraj was not allowing her. Now she is divorced and no need to live as per ex-husband's choices.

Nowadays middle age women have also started wearing suits, kurtas etc so there is no point in showing anupama backward.

Writer should think progressively and should start anupama's new morning with her the suits which she likes to wear.

Saree pehne ki aadat hogi usko but aadat ka kya hai chut jayegi, after all uski pasand to hamesha se suits he the as per her words.

Be progressive writers ! It's 21st century ! This is high time you should pass message that woman has right to dress as per her choices.

Seems like just because writers wants to play bgm "suti saree mai bhagwan hai" ,they are forcing anupama character with saree nonsense🤢 Jaise anupama ko cotton saree abhi pehnate hai writers, waise he cotton suits bhi woh pehen sakti hai.

Even with IRL divorces, life doesn't change that quickly. That one day Vanraj's adultery is exposed. The next day Anupamaa shows up in a suit because ohoo ye toh cheater hai. Aaj se saree band 🤣

Arre apni Rakhi Dave bhi toh pehenti hai saree. Progressive ka saree se kya lena dena.

Infact I toh think, saree suits her most.

Haan but occasionally they can show her wearing suits. But that will happen gradually I think, and even if it doesn't happen, I am fine, jab tak Anupamaa ki thinking and actions progressive hai I have no complaints with her look.

Female empowerment is much more than clothes. Even before the divorce, Anu has started working, driving, making independant decisions, being self-assured. Some changes need to be left for post-divorce life too. Dheere dheere vo bhi ho jaega. Writers themselves made it so that Anu prefers suits but had to wear sarees. The show is not over yet. Isme 2021 & progressiveness kaha se aa gayi 🤣

Backward to dikhaya he hai 25 saal tak woman ko husband ke choice ke sath jite hue, saas ke taano ko sehte hue. 25 saal bahot lamba time hai and wife ke kapdo ke choice mai interfere karna bhi regressiveness he hai.

Vanraj ko kavya western outfit mai smart lagti hai but anupama ko saree pehne ke liye force kiya.Baa ki beti dolly suits pehenti hai but anupama bas saree he pehne aisa force kiya????

How can husband and mother interfere in daughter in law's dressing choice? I am calling that mindset backward. I am not saying "saree" as backward dressing.

There is stereotype in most hindi serial that lead should wear saree only .I wanted writers to break it. kahani ghar ghaki,kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi, sasural simar ka, mollki, bandini etc all were hell bent in showing mahan ladies should wear saree only😆

By meaning 21st century ,i wanted to say this is not kahani ghar ghar ki,kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi era. Dressing of mahan leads should be changed with time. Mahanta sirf saree pehen se he nahi chhalakti. Suit pehen kar bhi lead actress mahan he rahegi.

Saree pehenewali ko sati savitri mahan samja jata hai and saree pehenwali he sanskari he hoti hai aisa bhi mana jata hai, and aisa educated log nahi sochte hai but yeh mentality widely exist karti hai. Kaha se ayi yeh mentality??? Thoda hath in daily soaps ka bhi hai iss baat ko define karne mai after all indian housewife,mothers,mother-in-law from very small village are seeing it .

My colleague marwadi friend's mother in law believes this in today's time that saree is the only dressing which represents "sanskar" .Lol she is so fed up with her such a cheap mind set.She sees all the serials and expects my friend should leave her job and should live life like akshara,tulsi,parvati😆Ab aisi ladies ko kaun samjaye ki woh time jaa chuka hai and today's working woman can't act like them.

The way Divorce is step to break some stereotype in society, same way they can break the stereotype around saree too. India is still backward in so many areas so people do judge based on dressing and these daily soap ki mahaan saree wali ladies are doing kapoor job for that bekar mindset.

LOL we're saying abhi abhi toh divorce hua hai. Even in 2021, changes after divorce happen gradually. It can't be like aaj divorce file hua, kal sabhi sarees ko aag lagaadi 🤪

Plus it's a TV show. They need to keep some changes reserved for Anu's post-divorce life too. Even with working & driving, they first told us Anupamaa's wishes, then her journey to achieve them. Give it time. They themselves have added this suit-saree angle. They will come to her clothes too. The show is nowhere close to over.

And it's not the Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki era anymore. Star Plus' own other shows like Yeh Rishta Kya, Pandya Store, Ishqbaaz, etc have female leads wear saree, suits, kurtas, lehengas, etc.

Well in that case, I agree, dressing cannot decide your sanskar, Jeans and mini skirt pehne wali bhi sanskaari ho sakti hai and saree pehne wali bhi asanskari ho sakti hai. Ye daily soaps wali ko ye nahi dikhta, ki in shows ki vamps bhi saree main ghumti hai the likes of komolika, ramola sikand etc etc.

But abhi kaafi shows main ye trend nahi raha jahan young leads hai. Not many are shown wearing saree full time. Infact inka dusra show YRKKH main the FL always wore modern clothes only and there was one sequence also which portrayed that just wearing saree is not sanskar.

Lets see how CVs take this forward, and even if she continues to wear saree, they should show that she is wearing at her own will.
