@bold - exactly people are only seeing that Vanraj is apologising and so what Anu is doing is for her promise to Kavya. Just bcoz Vanraj is sorry doesn't reduce the pain of betrayal and that too witnessing Vanraj and Kavya's intimate moment.

The fragging was not only bcoz of actors testing positive but also to build a story around for change in location. But still glad they didn't drag much, like during the first hearing counsellor said thet it was supposed to be after 6 months.

I am also glad makers did go ahead with the divorce.

Dragging included Vanraj's accident, Vanraj's attempt to reconcile, included Kavya's plotting, everything... Divorce should have been first thing after Vanraj moved in with Kavya!

Those whole part was when shoots were fine, but mainly makers had started giving bit of hope for AnuRaj to be honest..

May be they were testing the reactions of the audience amd also they wanted to show impact of it on each family member, how everyone reacts in differently and that represented the society. But they also knew that divorce had to be done, amd also it is ITV there had to be some dragging aise hi thodi na serials saalo saal chalti hai 😂😂 But honestly for me, till the story till the actors got COVID did not feel like dragged, it kept me engaged, after that many things happened and they lost the touch due to constant change of scripts and everything, but now its back on track.

To be honest, I did lose interest post Sankranti when Vanraj decided to go after Kavya to make Anupama jealous and his never ending nautanki... And I did start feeling after a point makers are planning to cancel the divorce track..

It could be difference of opinion... Every show is suffering from uncertain situations but I must say that this show still handled script pretty well... With Rakhi and Baa... In absence of leads...

But after sankrati hi toh Anupamaa gave divorce notice to Vanraj and then Vanraj's job went, which I loved, then the scene of Vanraj calling Any mentally ill, I was like yess, he is back to being bad, now some people who were sympathising with him due to his accident will not. Only his Vanraj Shah is back on Mahashivratri was pathetic track, it did not have any logic the whole Mahashivratri sequence was poorly scripted. Though what all he said of what Father's go through and are never appreciated was right, but he using it as a defense of nullify his cheating to Anupamaa was non sense.

Even the sequence of Pakhi's realisation I liked.

🤣 Oh I love those sequences that you have mentioned...

I used to skip and watch certain scenes... VanYa's fights after moving in... Losing job... Anupama sending notice were cool! Him calling her mentally ill and her slaying like queen in front of trial was bliss... And the very next day was first six months notice I guess... Sorry.. It was after that it haywaya...

Kavya was clearly being shown to be appreciating Kinjal as her boss, why didnt makers really not focus on it and make her real evil...

Pakhi's interface in VanYa's life... Her realization was again more towards reunion of her parents over her mother's suffering... But her suicide note, kidnapping and all the realization was still selfish...

Vanraj was always always shown bad till say last month and suddenly it's realization ka keher.. But he is still egoistic..

See throughout the series Anupama has had fantastic dialogues... Difference between how parent is blamed or rewarded, regarding self respect, related social messages of suicide... But I understand it's ITV and it's trp topper so people do seemed to have enjoyed it all... Could have been little faster...

Extra Marital Affairs are taken pretty crapily in ITV unfortunately and with some shows on SP even promoting Polygamy it's difficult to portray realistic situations...

Undoubtedly makers have played major role in this whole thing.. I understand actors tested positive and shoots were to be stopped and everything, but the way they had dragged till this point and kind of added Anuraj scenes could have given hopes to people that they are planning to reunite... Divorce isn't an easy thing but nor is overcoming betrayal.... One terrible sight of your husband sharing intimate moment with his girlfriend on your apparent wedding night... You could see the shock, you could see the shattered woman... But she bounced back only to be further tortured by her husband... Only to be called mentally ill for helping school... Does Sorry really pay the price? Literally, audience had to be constantly reminded of torture and not be shown hopes of uniting like Baa... Practical woman like Rakhi should have never been shown supporting this reunion... It still irks me... That so many women in this show has been shown to strongly support reunion... Except Kinju and Nandini...

But that's the reality... No one wanted to see! I am still thankful to makers for actually going ahead with the divorce... I had actually lost all the hopes till promise 😆 and even after that till Anupama strongly said.... Vanraj can never come back to her ship!

You are right Rakhi should not support the reunion. Leela aur PAkhi ka to bolna bhi bekaar hai.

But there are so many on SM dont want the divorce but still they planned divorce and that's what is different
