The episode begins with Kavya creating huge ruckus at Kinjal Toshu wedding . She demands her rights to sit with Van at the rites n rituals . Everyone is shocked , only Rakhi smirks .
Van asks Kavya to leave n not create Tamasha at his son’s wedding . Kavya refuses to leave. She insults Anupama ...that she was illiterate, helpless and always dependent on her husband for everything, she used excuses to call Van home frequently ,sometimes Babuji, sometimes daughter’s birthday, sometimes sons wedding. She could not stand alone leave alone fighting for herself.
Dolly, Samar, Baa, Babuji support Anupama and order Van to throw Kavya out . Van asks Kavya to leave . Kavya demands Vanngive their rishtaa a name , give her the status of Mrs Vanraj Shah. Give her his Mangal sutra that Anupama still had . Everyone is shocked .
Kavya accuses Van of living with Anu and using Kavya for week ends , she was not going to allow him to repeat that , he was not allowed tk live with Kavya n visit Anu on weekends.
Kavya refuses to leave and demands Vanraj’s Mangal sutra that Anu was wearing . As she tries to grabs the MS Anu grips her hand . She warns Kavya that her hands were of a woman who smelled of spices, who always rolled out Chappaties, khakhara, theplas, today she will,show Kavya their strength.
Saying this Anu drags Kavya out of the venue and shows her what she was capable of . Kavya again makes an attempts to acquire that MS and insults Anu. Anu gives Kavya one tight slap. Rakhi is shocked . The entire family is pleased to see what Anu did. Dolly mutters this was long time over due . Anu declares she was silent all this time just to avoid Tamasha publicly but Kavya forced her to give what she deserved . No one dare tough the MS a that had the family elder’s blessings in it , even though Vanraj’s love was not there any more .
Vanraj runs to the two ladies and scolds Anu for daring to slap Kavya .
Babuji declares that he would have been better childless rather than having son like Vanraj. Anupama tells Van that if he was so hurt because of her slap to Kavya he could leave with her . She refuses to allow Kavya inside .
Anu asks Van if he would like to attend his son’s wedding he could attend alone , Kavya was not allowed into Anu’s house . Van stands holding Kavya , he stares at Toshu sitting at mandap, he looks at Anupama waiting for his answer , he looks at his family waiting for his reply. Kavya warns Van that if he ditched her today n went back to his family he will see her dead face . Van is stuck at the door , he is unable to leave his son n family , he is unable to see Kavya die . He stands rooted at the entrance , refuses to budge as Kavya tries to take him away .
Kavya shouts at Van that his family was yearning for him but if today he lost his job no one would want him. Babuji n Baa declare why would her son lose his job , Kavya might lose hers instead. Rakhi smirks that Mr Shah’s job was at stake too .... interesting ...
Anupama gets her answer when Van remains silent n rooted at the entrance e with Kavya holding his arm . Anu returns to Mandap n asks Pandit ji to begin rasam. She alone will performs all rituals for her son Toshu.
The wedding rasams take place , Van keeps staring at Toshu from the entrance door , Kanya daan is performed by baa n Babuji as jodi. Kinjal is sad that her parents failed to appear as jodi on her special day.
Saat phere, MS and sindoor rituals are completed , Van blesses his son for afar.
At Kavya house Massive fight ensues between VanYa . Van blames Kavya for causing ruckus at his son’s wedding. He accuses Kavya of letting Rakhinsicceed in her plans by using Kavya . She already knew what kids of lady Rakhi was after the Tamasha at resort.
Kavya is thankful to Rakhi for giving her dignity n inviting her tk the wedding something that Vanraj had failed. Kavya thanks Rakhi for what she did at resort or he would never have left his family n come to live with her , he would b forever sailing in two boats happily. She was thankful that Because of Rakhi It was clear who supported Van more. Whose side Van was. Now Van would no more go to Anupama.
Van shouts at Kavya for being insecure even after all this. Kavya asks him to legalise their rishtaa , she did. It want to be called other woman and having illicit relationships. Orders him to divorce Anupama and marry her.
They have massive argument , Kavya asks. An to leave her house if he found her so undesirable , if they were forced tk fight like cats n dogs in this manner all the time .

Anupamaa’s mother tells Leela Baa that her daughter would have been better off unmarried than getting married to person like her son Vanraj. She refuses to allow Anu to suffer in Leela’s family any more , she orders Anu to accompany her back to maika. Anu did not need Van or his family. Anupama is in dilemma.
At Kavya’s house after heated argument Kavya orders Van to leave her house n go back to Anu as he could not live without her. Van is seen dropping the keys of Kavya’s house and removing the foto of hers from his wallet. He decides he needs neither Anu nor Kavya .
