Anupamaa Written Update 24 Dec 2020

The episode begins with Dave family n Shah family chalking out wedding of KinTos . baa has already slammed a huge list at Rakhi. She shows her dissent. Rakhi n Anupama have low scale war of words . Finally Anu declares it was of utmost importance to have the wedding as per the wishes of the bride n groom. She asks Kinjal to share how she wanted her wedding to be . Baa and Babuji agree with Anupama, Rakhi is sure Kinjal always had grand wedding plans .. she smiles n asks Kinjal to share her dreams . Toshu also states his Kinju’s happiness was the most important thing for him.

Kinjal then shares how she had dreams of destination weddings at France, Greece, designer lehengas, Pre wedding shoots at exotic locations. Anupama and Shah family have shocked n worried faces and Mrs Rakhi Dave smirks watching their reactions .

Kinjal continues thats all this was before she understood the importance of family . Now she understands the importance of the love of a family . She wishes to have her wedding in a simple man set with only close friends n immediate family members only . rakhi tries to protest but Pramod butts in and wholeheartedly accepts this suggestion n finalises this plan of Kinjal with Shah family . Leaving Rakhi dumb struck .

After Rakhi is whisked off by Pramod , Baa asks Vanraj to be present for the wedding functions . She asks Anu not to create scene as Van would be attending the functions. Anupama shares her opinion n renders Baa speechless n ashamed of her son.

At Kavya ‘s house she is making plans of attend the wedding functions with Van , but he remains silent on the matter. He just informs he might have to stay at Shah house for few days for the purpose of wedding . Kavya is displeased to hear that.

Rakhi is furious with the way Shah family twisted the discussions to the favour and also slapping this long list on her face , she now plans to take her revenge.

Next morning Baa and Mama ji are surprised at the news of Paritosh Shah the Damaad of Dave family would be the new MD of their coaching center. Anupama is shocked n says this is unfair, he was not experienced yet , Toshu fails to see the problem in accepting this . Anu explains there was a diffference between what one deserved n what is gifted as a favour. . Kinjal states if she had wanted to take favour from her parents, then why would she have struggled n toiled all her life ?? She could have gone to any institutions of her parents choice. Toshu is explained that accepting gifts is like accepting dowry from In Laws . Toshu makes up his mind.

At office Van is irked by the three women in his life Anupamaa on one side , Kavya on the other n now Rakhi Dave too. He gets frustrated.

At Kavya’s place She is selecting a saree for attending the mehendi n Sangeet, she asks Van’s opinion. Van remains silent , she asks did he even want her to attend ?? She wanted to go with him as she loved him, but he had reduced her to the other woman in his life ?? Was she just his mistress ?? Van gets infuriated and orders her not to attend the function as his family n society were not yet that forward minded to accept a father girl friend at the son’s wedding , he was unable to let her accompany him. Kavya is shocked .

At Dave house Rakhi is waiting for a call from any of the Shah family members but she received none !! She gets greetings from various of her own friends, finally Anupama calls Rakhi to extend invitation to the mehendi n sangeet functions the same day. She also thanks Rakhi for the precious priceless gift of Kinjal to her family . Anu then thanks Rakhi for giving such highly praiseworthy sanskaar to her daughter. Kinjal’s sanskaar were beautiful smiles Anupama

Rakhi is furious at her plans failing as there was no reaction from Shah family on the news paper report.

She plans to try n disrupt the next function .

It’s the mehendi n sangeet functions of KinTos , Vanraj co fronts Anu by saying that he learnt from baa that Anu disliked his visits to Shah house , he warns her not to create Tamasha today at the function on his visit today. Anu retorts back that he only declared she was not of his level, then how could she stoop to his level of activity ??

Rakhi plans to disrupt Anu’s plans at the function, she hums the song ‘aaj na chorenge tujhey dum dama dum ...”
