What exactly does Vanraj want?

I am now so confused about his behavior, I thought he did want to divorce Anupama....

But now it seems like he just wants to break so called invisible gamand of Anupama? And then what? Get back with family with Anupama as a maid? Glorified maid? And keep his relationship with mistress??

It's such a crappy mentality... And Baa will be in favour of such thing?

Vanraj is missing being the centre of attention. When he lived with his family, previously they used to idolize him, which he hoped Kavya would also do but she implicitly showed him his place. He wants a stable house and meal (with parents + children) and he wants an equal counterpart to show off (Kavya). Ultimately he might end up with none if he continues this behavior.

Yes that's exactly what he wants...

And yes Baa would prefer that over what's happening now due to old fashioned thinking that an unhappy/toxic marriage is better than divorce...

Vanraj want both one kaam wali bai that is anupama another naukri karne wali

When kavya stay at nandini home ( rent) then vanraj was saying na to anupama ko chod sakta hoon kyonki anupama ke saath mera parivaar juda hai ( matlab agar vanraj ne anupama ko chhod diya to vanraj se parivaar bhi chut jaayega)

Aur na main kavya ko chhod sakta hai kyonki kavya ke saath meri zindagi judi hai i can breath properly with kavya

But that's the whole point...you literally cannot have that!! I literally hope Anupama manages to escape from this idiotic family

The truth is he has never thought about divorce. If he seriously even considered it for a second, he would have done it a long time ago!! He would have confronted his feelings for Kavya to his parents and came to a solution to live separately a long time ago, instead of keeping it a secret. But he knew, his parents would never agree and this society won't let him stay with his mistress because of pride and reputation. So divorce is not an option for him. He only said about divorce once when he was leaving the house, but that was his trick. He thought Anu is going to get scared and backout and beg him to stay. But that plan backfired on him. He is still delaying divorce, not because he wants to keep this relation but because he wants to feed his ego. He wants Anu to come begging for him to support the family. Because once they are legally divorced, then he has no right over her, he can't express his man ego and can't torture her emotionally. So he is actually hoping that Anu needs him so he can feel good about himself. But he is seriously underestimating Anu's capabilities.

He just want to satisfy his ego, and prove his point that his extra marital affair was all anu's mistake ... he was right , he is everything, anu cant run house alone, above all he wants to crush anu's self respect..
