Wondering what his stand will be if Pakhi gets cheated upon by her husband in future or if Sanjay decides to dump Dolly just to get back at Vanraj

Vanraj doesnot care about any one at this moment for him because of anupama all these things is happening and usske galat nahi han

I would have really liked the show if.... It would have shown, though rudely, Rakhi continues to support Anupama indirectly.... I remember how exciting was the promo of the show Shadi Mumbarak where lady is shown to be grey but then turns out to be strongest support of Female Lead...

I so wish Rakhi's character would have been something similar or on those lines... She definitely need not get super positive and supportive like Devika or Nandini or Kinjal... Just be indirect support (intentionally) to Anupama as a woman and human... That would make the show little more unique.

Agree but rakhi dave is grey character show is already have alots of positive character who support anu no matter what and rakhi dave fill the place of vamp which balance the show and she is unpredictable wo dekhne mei maza ata han

No mother will like to marry in such family where middle age father has no moral responbiity

Every body will think jub father is age mein aisi harakatein kar rahe hain to beta young age mein in harkaton mein kahan peeche rahega?

Aur wog beta show apne dad ko blindly trust karta han aur apne dad ko ideal manta han

ABout Vanraj I am sure, he will come off with some reasons to blame Anu like always. or will cry and beg about the "small" mistake he has made. Thinking everyone will move on eventually! He isn't going to change!

I am more curious about the family's reaction and the ultimate 'GADHAAs' who will give in his 'bahanas' because he is the only son and father of the family. So him being sorry is enough to move on! But one person I am sure about is Toshu, he will be angry not because his father lied but because his engagement is in danger because of this issue.

Now he already know his dad lie now hightime he should support his mother

Rakhi was on-point when she asked Anu & her SIL if they would marry their daughters into a household like that. Status war aside, she truly proved herself to truly be Anu's well-wisher in this case by telling the family members what a storm Anu has been facing alone since that 25th anniversary incident!! 👏

i just saw the episodes today and usually a silent reader but today felt i had to comment. for me, the most important thing rakhi said was:

a) to paritosh about blood- he is VERY alike his father AND knowingly puts parda on his father's affair cos he would rather associate with his economically upward mobile 'fashionable' father and blame his oppressed mother's oppression on her. its pathetic. and as a mother she should be very wary that a man who wont even stand up for his mother, will have no qualms about wronging his wife.

b) about sanskaars- they are khokhla. im sorry but bar samar, literally none of the children in anupama's household have good characters. not toshy, not pakhi, not vanraaj nor dolly. they are modern mukhata wearing dehats. they like to think they are evolved but the mobile middle class shame and chauvinist morals are deeply embedded in their system. in fact none of the family members have good morals- including anupama. its not good morals to put parda on your husband's bs to prevent hurt feelings, nor is it good morals to allow your children and in-laws to steam roll you constantly. you set wrong examples, standards and expectations. As a mother, my biggest problem wont be the cheating father in law. it'll be the husband who overlooks it all and the whole family including the mother in law who enables the bad behavior. the woman who willingly hides her husband's mistakes will more than likely do the same for her son. abhi bapuji is the excuse then it'll be something else. you will see in most households- domestic violence is a learnt and normalized behavior. why should rakhi trust such sanskaars for her daughter- tomorrow if paritosh does the same to kinjal then again anupama will find some other excuse to hide it and do all this smoke and mirrors.

i have never seen rakhi as wrong. she is not fussed about the family's middle class-ness superficially. if that was the case, she'd see Vanraj as great and anu as gross. but to her- both are equal dehats. and thats just a fact.
