TUESDAY - 16th September 2010 Episode - 146

RM updates about the friend's son who is to be the groom for Shruthi. Shruthi doesnt seem happy about the news (yaarummaa yaaru unnOda aaLu!!) Goes on and on about the sambandham - Vasanthi is happy ; RM asks about Shruthi's opinion.. she mennu muzhungi says that marriage not on her cards for now.. Rm decidedly says marriage will be conducted ASAP. (sariyaana dictator appa). RM leaves the arena, Shruthi retires to her room, thoughtful... calls a Vignesh, asks him to come immediately. He replies saying he is in the U.S and not Amnjikarai (vigneshu, sometimes americalEndhu seekiram vandhidalaam but not aminjikarai) Shruthi repeats her father's words. He promises to be in Chennai in a week's time (ada kadavuLE aduththa vaaram innoru american accent koott(h)u??)

Pallu's mother clearing dishes hears Palli and RR entering, goes to find out why Palli's mood is out. Palli tells about her sky flying in colours (maanam parandhupOchchu) Palli leaves in anger. Vishwanathan couple does the enquiry with their maaps, who tells about Shree, Vishy couple aware of Karthik's love matter, RR wonders why Mrs.Shrini behaved so... worries about the spider web.

Sundu meets RR at the park. Asks if everything is successful, RR answers in negative. Again Ottufies all that happened. Unbelievable says Sundu, he knows Mrs. Shrini, she is not that type,says some confusion, he will take care.

Sundu ding dongs at Shrini's house..is welcomed by Mr.Shrini who goes in to call Gayathri. Gayathri says she will not give up Shreenithi for anything, anyone... they come out and Sundu talks about RR's visit. Mrs & Mr Shrini not so happy.. Sundu tells that they came to talk about Shreenithi (yow, wooden head Shreenithi kalyanam matternu orutharum velakkama sollamaateenga.. seriyaana veLakeNNais) promises not to bring discomfort to the couple. Then goes on to ask if they dont have any intention to get Shreenithi married at all.. Finally tells they came to ask for Shreenithi's hand for Karthik. The couple not interested in this... Sundu wants reason, but the couple says it will not work out. Tell him not to talk regarding this alliance. Sundu leaves... Gayathri wonders if Palli does not know that they are talking of incest... Both pray to God to escape from RR and Palli ( Mrs & Mr.Shrini naangakooda adhuthaan vENdikkirOm)

I managed to watch almost the whole episode except last 5 min (where NOTHING happened I am sure)...bu actually, nothing happened throughout the episode anyway!

Scene opens with Balu and wife brought to Patti's home by Karthik and Shree is there.

Patti ask Balu how he knows Karthik's father and who it is..Karthik jumps in, says they are close friends, and Balu mazhupufies (saving his friend's "name") saying they are childhood friends from the village.

Meanwhile Balu's wife throws a tantrum asking for her daughter Selvi, and creates a ruckus asking where she is. Patti tries to intervene but gets pushed/slapped for interrupting her search for Selvi. Everyone is shocked, and Patti understands, but doesnt know what to do. Suprt Karthik steps in, brings her to a corner and pacifies her, promising her that Selvi has gone to school, and that he will bring her back. He makes her sleep and everyone is happy he contained the situation.

Shree takes leave and Patti insists Karthi should drop her in his car instead of walking. Shree refuses, and Patti asks if there is anything wrong between the couple (busybody!). Of course they deny it, and they both leave in the car.

They are both silent, then Shree gets off, and starts crying as she leaves. Super Karthik gets down and explains that he now understands that people's love can force them to tell lies for a good reason, he just learned from what happened in Patti's house. He apologises and they both smile and mild vazhisal. At that exact time, a motobike passes, and guess who is inside, watching them (Prem of course)...he gives a villain look.

Next scene in restaurant- Shruti and Vignesh (boyfriend) there, she is asking when he is going to settle in india, his plans etc..making small talk. This is where my episode ended....hope there wasnt a turning point here, but if there was, pls update...Thanks

I will wrap up on Friday - eclat, neenga sonna madhiri indha kappal nagarave illai, so why can't it just sink? I wish it would do that soon.

Update for Friday, Nov 19, 2010:

I missed the first couple of minutes, but Adhi is not happy seeing his sister with a guy in a restaurant (at least there is one good thing in these serials - the brothers get upset when they see their sisters out with guys and falling in love! On the other hand, the same rules don't seem to apply to the brothers!) Shruthi explains that they knew each other in college, and it was only at the end that they realized they were in love, and she tells Adhi that SR (screaming Rajmohan) has fixed up an alliance for her and so she called Vig to return to India. Vig explains that he will never let Shruthi down, but Adhi doesn't feel his dad will ever accept this. Shruthi says that's why she wants Adhi to return home and be of support to her, and she says she will make SR agree, so a reluctant Adhi agrees to go back.

When they reach their house, Adhi is unwilling to go in, so Shruthi goes in and hesitantly tells her father that she had gone to French class (hmm, more lies!) and saw her brother when she was on the street, has brought him home, but he wants SR's permission to enter. Vasanthi wants to go outside, but SR stops her with a growl (he is a wild animal, after all, shouting and screaming all the time) and finally grants permission for Adhi to enter (cold-hearted dad!). Adhi comes in, Sr gives a sermon about how the kids are raised with so much kastam (indha aaLukku pesavae varalai!) and all he wanted is to kaapaathufy the kudumba gouravam and everything else comes second to that. Adhi says he will help with the marriage.

RR at Palli's house, Karthi comes in, asks where everyone is, RR says that Palli is in the kitchen (does she even know where that room is?), thatha and paati have gone to the temple, Priya is in college, and Karthi says he wants to talk privately with dad. They go to RR's bedroom, RR tells Karthi to sit, he remains standing, he tells RR to sit, RR sits down, and the bedroom door is wide open - so much for privacy! Karthi tells RR about the incident with Balu and his wife, and he realized that a lie that is said for something good is not so bad after all, and he is now reconciled with Shreenidhi. He says that just as RR cannot think of anyone other than his wife (RR stands up, it is like a lash of a whip to him - high time you admitted your lies and cheating to everyone!), he cannot imagine anyone other than Shree for himself. RR tells him that he knew everything would be okay and he would understand Shree, and right then, Pallu walks in (when I come in from the kitchen, my sari isn't pinned neatly in place, I am not wearing a silk sari and jewelry, and I am sweaty and hot, but this woman is dressed to kill in a silk sari and jewelry and not a hint of sweat, not a hair out of place!) and listens to everything (kadhavai thirandhu vechu secrets pesinaa ippadi thaan nadakkum!), erupts as usual, saying she doesn't like all this love business, then simmers down and says she wants to be sure the girl is from a good family, etc., and leaves. RR is pleased that she has come down from her high stand, and says everything will go smoothly from here (keep hoping!)

Prem walks in to his own house - looks livid. Amma pries .."enna aachu?? " but
Prem is not in a mood to answer. Jagajjaala Killa appa (JKA) comes with his
Dubai friend and pries some more " enna da?/ Shree vishayam thaane?? Ava thaan
intha veettu DIL, no changes.." Then goes on to say that he sent a bald letter to
Shree's parents about how she is Oor suthing with some jobless Karthik - " ippO
pOi correct aa namba pOnnu ketta, antha Shrinivaasan alarikkittu thara maattan??"
Prem is more angry now - "ahhhh, athu unga velai thaana??? Now both Shree and
Karthi are cootchi cooing again!! All because of that letter !!! Now, let me handle my
life, you keep off, gotcha??"

SURUTHI veedu (habbba, thangalai da sammy) Rajmohan's friend arrives with his
family - girl seeing ceremony. Sudden visit. Shruthi tries to put off but daddy says
that she has to save his honor (??!!) Aadhi cajoles sister to give a dharshan " I promise
that I will get you married to your BF, ithu summa ulu ulu kaattikku" Girl seen, RM is
all set for the wedding.

Accent akka and Pallu meet in the temple. Anavasiyamaa English le solli athai Tamizh
le translate panni ( Pallu kku English theriyumaa nnu santhegamaa , accent akka??
Roja kku intha kodumai accent and the translation..rendaiyum thaanga mudiyalai )
apram offers to drop Pallu. Pallu is dropped off but her poojai koodai stays in the
back seat. Akka drives away refusing the offer of coffee . On the way , she sees RR -
his car has gone kaput and he has no clue as to how to get it going. Akka asks RR to
hop in. "athaan mechanic kku phone pannittinga illai? apram why devudu kaathufy??"
RR does not look comfortable and akka as usual chips " you should have brought Anu, neenga Anu vai kOottittu vanthu irukkanum.." (athu sari, biwi no 2 vai paarkka biwi
no 1, nalla kOothu ) Finally sees the pooja basket - tells RR that Pallu left it in the car - reverses and goes to Pallu's house - RR is biting his nails ...refuses the offer of "come
and meet Pallu" Akka goes in, hands over the basket, refuses another offer of coffee
saying " Anu's hubby is in the car" Pallu wants to meet him, comes the near the car....
RR enna makkaanaa?? EppO vO joot... Both the women are wondering...

Tuesday 23rd November 2010 Episode -

AAR (Accent Akka Rukku) and Palli come to the car and find RR missing. Palli is disappointed... (naangaLum thaan !) AAR promises Palli that she would bring Anu and RR to Palli's place. (good - do it soon!! ) RR goes jalan jalan turning back to see if he is being followed... (yov, arivu kaLanjiyam, munnalEndhu maatta pOra!) tries hiring an auto (autokaaran RR paarththu full speedla escape - neeyumaaya?) sits on the steps to an apt (think it is AAR's apt) and calls Sundu. Tells him to come to the RA Puram main road therukkOdi where he is waiting. Sundu and RR make a great escape.

Gopi locks the house and is about to leave.. MK arrives, Gopi says Selva and his wife have left him high and dry, gone out of the house (idhu eppo nadandhadhu?) tries driving away MK... the car owner who shouted for the late delivery of his car comes and thanks MK for saving his life. He missed the Bombay flight because of the delay, MK again asks sorry, says some idiot put sand in the petrol tank when he had parked the car in front of the house... the car owner says the missed flight had a mishap and all passengers got a one way ticket. Gives a Rs.10,000 cheque, promises to give his car only to MK for servicing and also recommend amongst his friends. Gopi later owns up his act and asks for the cheque, MK says it has to go to Selva because she was the one who insisted he stay for lunch, leaves saying he would do the needful. Gopi is left thoughtful.

Villain Prem visits Shreenidhi's house. Shreenath welcomes him. Prem wants to know about others in the household, asks if the secret has been let out by Shreenath. Shreenath says is still a secret as requested by Prem. Calls for mummy, daddy and sister. Mummy welcomes Prem followed by Daddy and Shreenidhi. Prem remembers VJ1 on the streets. Finally the news is let out - their office is opening that day. Mummy and Daddy asks why the last minute info. Shreenidhi says she has something important.. Prem insists that she come and cut the ribbon (absolutely pEththal - if you want her to do the honours you cant inform her in the last minute!) She accepts.

Vignesh and Shruthi in the park. Adhi asks them about their next course of action. Shruthi and Vignesh ready to follow his advice. Adhi tells Vikky to tell his family about it. Adhi offers to talk... Vikky says he would speak to them. Wants a little time. Adhi tells him not to delay...

Office inauguration...photographer shooting O shooting... Prem's parents and Dubai dubakoor waiting. All are waiting for Shree's parents who have gone to the temple to do archanai. They feel the auspicious time is running out and go to inaugurate. Prem's father takes the scissors to cut the ribbon, Prem says Shreenidhi will do the honours. Daddy bugged. Prem is showing the office around to Shree, gets closer to her behind her and asks the photographer to shoot pics. (Wonder how Shree could not feel him getting closer - woman's seventh sense!!) The photographer shows a victory sign... they move to the other areas...

Monday 29/11/10 Archives ' Copy

Roja prayer gone kaput - accent akka kOnnutta grrrr

First segment - RR going on a self -pity trip - Sundu is the sole listener , as usual.
Sundu gets to know that accent akks almost pOttu kuduthufied to Pallu . Sundu
says the usual "ellam sariya pOidum"

Shree is crying - visions of Pallu cursing her. Parents are told that she is suffering from
Madras eye. Prem comes - gets a few minutes alone with Shree. Shree tells him the truth.
Prem is happy that Pallu is on his side - doles out a free advice " don't meet Karthik
for some time. If his mother gets to know, things will become worse" Shree agrees.

Accent akka visits Anu. Talks about Kamesh who is a vetti officer. Forces RR to give
a job in his company. RR agrees..Kamesh vows " Enga maama office le me an
employee?? Well, very soon I will own that..."

Tuesday - anuvukku palli vali - namakku pala vali...

30th Novemberr 2010 - Tuesday - Episode - 156

RM checking accounts and is wondering about Rs.10,000...his wife Vasanthi comes and asks why polambing to himself...he quips emaandha Kilpaukla admit senjuduva (if you keep shouting the way you are ....) he boasts that his kaNakku is always right... Vasanthi asks if his friend Govindarajan called regarding the engagement. RM is very confident that GR will call with the date... RM wants to buy saris and jewels, calls for Shruthi... Shruthi doesnt want anything other than her father's love... Aadhi too arrives. Call from GR saying sorry the engagement between RM's son and GR's daughter will not take place (ennayya confusion, yaarOda son and whose daughter!!) that GR's son loves someone and he doesnt want to spoil Shruthi's life. RM feels sad ...

Gopi's household... paanjaali (dhobi)comes to collect clothes.. SR and her mother give her the clothes.. Gopi comes in and joins in the vambu... Gopi's wife asks why Mr.Paanjali doesnt come to collect clothes, Paanjaali informs that he has a small house (chinna veedu) and so she doesnt stay with him anymore... Mrs.Gopi asks her why not adjusting..SR shouts saying that fellow should have been cut to pieces... Paanjali asks for her Rs.100 which was eaten by Gopi, after doling doses to Gopi Paanju is asked to collect it next day. Gopi gets new idea on dealing with MK, what if he proves that MK has someother woman connection (kanraavi) because all women in discussion were of the same opinion as SR..

AAR wants to know when Pooja is to be picked up. Dinesh says he will do it later in the evening. AAR informs about Vignesh's return from the USA... spoke to him and wants to discuss about his marriage with him. Dinesh promises to help her... In the car, AAR updates Ganesh (can someone tell if her husband's name is Dinesh or Ganesh) on LMK getting appointed in RR's office. Both praise RR... AAR concludes that Anu and RR are perfectly matched. Dinesh/Ganesh chayyang chaks.. The car is stopped by someone who wants a lift to Teynampet. Dinesh Ganesh verifies with the driver if T'pet is on the way and accepts. The driver goes to another car and another new character gets down..(arent there somethings called as autos and call taxis in Chennai, why should someone ask for a hike when their vehicle breaks down) Dinesh/Ganesh seems to knrow this vazhukkai thalai manushar and AAR is oblivious to the VTM or the change in Dinesh/Ganesh's expression.. (VTM) (another 2 wife story???)... asks the driver to start the car... VTM is left wondering... AAR wants to know the change in his attitude, he gives some reason...

Vignesh gets a call from Shruthi on his handphone, takes it without anyone knowing. Shruthi updates him on the groom... asks him to speed up.. AAR and Dinesh/Ganesh visit Vignesh's house.. initial kusalam visaarichings... AAR is updated that Vikki is leaving by the end of the month.. she asks Padmanabhan (Vikki's father) to do something before he leaves... Vikki is not interested and leaves the arena... AAR undertakes responsibility to talk to Vikki...take leave..

Thursday 25th November 2010 Episode - 153

grrrr... third time lucky i hope....

Viswanathan reading newspaper. ... Sivakami his wife comes and tells him that her bottom stomach goes bageer (adi vayiru bagir) every time Palli goes out, dont know whom she will bump into. Ask Viswa to talk to the maaps about project Thoothukudi.. Viswa promises to talk to the maaps and wishes that he remains happy (two timer and being happy - hmm). Palli arrives all kadu-kadu. Says is disgusted with whatever happened, storms into her room. The poor parents dont know what Palli is talking about. There comes AAR with her daughter Pooja. Viswa has a doubt if it is Anu or AAR, Sivakami confirms it is AAR. After welcoming, Sivakami goes to fetch Palli and then goes to make coffee. Viswa gets a call on his handphone and excuses himself. AAR wants to know why Palli is unhappy. Palli starts rattling about how her son Karthik is going around with a girl whom she detests. Also says how she wanted Nivedha to be her DIL (incest -ngov) that she always wants something special all the time (very true - you have something spl - a two timer for a hubby). AAR doesnt believe in josiyars and promises Palli that she would bring Nivedha as the DIL of the house. (But dont you need to think about Karthik's wish) Asks Palli to reign in Karthik (avan enna horse aa)

AAR at home reading a book. LMK (Loosu Mama Kamesh) arrives looking for something / someone. AAR wonders out aloud... he asks for Pooja... Pooja and her dad have gone to aunty's house (athai nu sonnaa enna) LMK says he does not know what to do, also his friends have all settled in life. AAR asks him to find a job first. He wants something that would do justice to his education (appadi enna padichchaa nee) and also something that he likes. AAR disagrees on the like and dislike part, says work sincerely then all jobs would become likeable. Tells LMK that she would look out for a job for him, and that he should give a copy of his resume to her. Think of marriage after getting a job she adds. He says that he already has a girl in mind... she wants to know who it is. LMK's mind voice says two akkas having a daughter each.. but blurts that he will tell when the time comes. Takes leave.

AAR comes to visit Anu. After initial where is Puja stuff... AAR wants to know how come Anu believes in josiyar. If both her MIL and she have become mad... Anu Ottufies the story right from the first girl seeing until her MIL was livid when she heard about the proposal. Anu says she will not do anything against her MIL's wishes. AAR tries to convince that need not accept her MIL's POV all the time. Anu puts a full stop.
