hyderabad is the place where most of the people speaks urudu/hindi better than so called north,east and west.

and regarding regional channels, gujarat,maharashtra,bengal they are also having so many regional channels.

in south we watch hindi movies,channels etc but gajendera thinks we are in srilanka so its not a part of India

i challenge i know hindi songs better than so called final teams. and i challenge i can present you with good teams from hyderabad,chennai, bangalore and kochin to challenge this finalists

As i watched the first few episodes of Antakshari, I couldnt help but wonder either...

I think South Indians have beautiful classical base kindof voices, and it would have been great had there been a south team....

I presume if this issue comes to the notice of the producer, he might consider having a south team next time round...

I am actually surprised the producers have never bothered to clarify this point. Because I am sure this issues has been raised before. They have no answer to it so they have shut up.
Seeing the kind of contestants that came from north adn central (except neeti) I can bet south could have produced a winning team.
I knwo many people who watch only marathi,gujrathi and bengali channels.
I was able to identify 95% of the visuals and tunes in all the episodes so far. And i know plenty of people who have tremendous knowledge of songs inspite of being in south idnia.

Agree with all of u totally.I am from tamilnadu,but I am an great fan of antakshari and have watched all episodes.I was also able to identify a lot of visuals and songs.Even annu kapoor keeps saying that hindi songs is the one thing that binds people from kashmir to kanyakumari( in the south).Even in the last episode,he said if u go to eranakulam/cochin/alappi(all cities in the south),u can discuss hindi film music with them.
When they know this why didn't they include south???!!
